Moderation and Democracy Studies Centre (MDSC)
Would the mods here mind if NS moderation issues which they may not feel comfortable discussing (e.g. moderator elections, swastika-ban policy, etc.) were discussed in an off-site forum? Of course, most likely nothing will change with regards to NS moderation policy, but at least those who are dissatisfied with mod rulings have a place to rant about it all day long.
I have already created the forum here (http://s6.invisionfree.com/PCRA_Central/index.php?showforum=12), but if the mods here object, I can remove it (it has nothing in it anyway, as of now).

Object or not, I don't think that the mods have any power over what happens in off-site forums. In fact, I know they don't.
That being said, I don't think what happens in an off-site forum would have any effect on this site.

Sandpit is asking if the mods would allow this. Sandpit doesn't have to obey them, Sandpit is giving them the choice of whther they think they think this site would be detrimental to NS.

As far as the mods are concerned, what players do offsite is none of our business. Our only concern is that if it is linked to on Nationstates, that it not contain obscene material.
If Sandpit doesn't mind running an offsite forum, s'all cool here.

Thanks, Rep Prod.
I would like to add that those who are in favour of mod policies and rulings are also welcome in the MDSC. After all, I want discussion, not pure mod-bashing.
Secondly, a disclaimer will be added once I finish creating the forum, saying that the MDSC will most likely have no effect on mod policies.
Thirdly, note my new sig.

It seems that I knew exactly what Sandpit was saying. I told him that no matter what the mods objected to, he could make any forum he wished. I also told him that the results of his "discussions" would most likely have no effect on this site. Your "definition" was far from necessary.
