1.
Few days ago, I was ejected from UN. I got a telegram which said that I had controlled two UN nations.
The problem is, I never had two nations! I have been ejected without a reason and I can't join again.
Tell me the name of that other nation, please. The Supreme Rabbit is the ONLY nation I got. I want this thing fixed.
2.
Suur-Taipalsaari (or was it U-duck, no matter, they are the same) contacted moderators and said that Hovinpelto and Preuss are controlled by one person. Those two nations got ejected from the UN.
Preuss and Hovinpelto are NOT controlled by one person. My two friends were ejected and barred from re-joining only because Suur-Taipalsaari (or U-duck) said so. This isn't right!

For the record, I am not the Moderator who originally handled either of these cases.
However, I have reviewed the evidence. The nations 'the_supreme_rabbit', 'nuijamaa', and 'capo_di_tutti_capi' show up as frequent UN multies. They will not be allowed back into the UN.
'hovinpelto' and 'preuss' were detected as former UN multies on Nov 16-18. This was later noticed by a NationStates Moderator on Dec 8, when they were ejected.

The question is not "which nations do you control?", but rather "which UN nations logged on from the same computer?". It sounds like you play with RL friends, and if you ever shared a computer, a UN multi-scan would have likely picked up that fact. This is not a new ruling, but something that has been stated time and again.
I see Cogitation has posted a mod ruling while I typed this, but the statement bears repeating once again:
"Don't share a computer with any other UN nations!"

What?! Nuijamaa and Capo di Tutti Capi are the same, but I don't have two nations, really! THis is impossible...

Now I understand... We all have used the same public computer! Oh man, this is just too heavy... I.. I don't know should I cry or laugh.

Laugh, it usually feels better. ;)
You can still play, you just won't be able to rejoin the UN from that IP. There's a whole host of nations who aren't in the UN, most of them prefer it that way actually, so the game is still very enjoyable without that one aspect.

Incorrect. You can't rejoin the UN with those nations.
You can still play from that computer, but only one UN member nation may use that computer. If it really is a public computer, then I advise avoiding it to play NationStates.

Well, since this has been explained, I feel better and laugh. I wonder... Could I make another nation that could join the UN, from other computer (my own)? I know it is.. umm.. cheating, but I didn't do anything wrong earlier, did I?

It's not cheating. You don't have any other UN nations, right? Go for it.

Oh, thank you.

Let me clarify this to make sure there's no confusion.
You may create a new nation and use that nation to join the UN as long as said nation does not share computers with any other current UN member nations.
If, for any reason, you anticipate that it will be necessary for two or more UN member nations to share a computer temporarily (for example, you're keeping your friends nation active*), then all except one of those nations has to resign from the UN before those nations start sharing computers.
Related subject (though it doesn't apply in this particular case): If one nation is used to break the rules, then all nations playing from the same computer are presumed to belong to the same person and may all be punished. Thus, you can be punished for something someone else did if you share computers or nations with them. For this reason, sharing computers or nations with possible rulebreakers is very dangerous. Sharing computers or nations with known rulebreakers is to be avoided at all costs.
* I'm just stating this as a hypothetical example. You don't need to keep a nation active. If a nation dies of inactviity, a Game Moderator can resurrect it upon request; just file a "Getting Help" request.

There should be a safety built in the game, that scans for UN nations on that IP adress, when you click the link on the email. When it detects another UN nation on that IP adress, it will say: "Sorry, there is already a UN nation known to us on this IP. You will not be admitted to the UN yet. Resign firts, and than click this link again." That prevents a whole lot of nagging
Ummm.....Just a note, I don't want to be booted out of the U.N. I use the comp's at school to NS as well my home comp. I don't know who else does. So if I show up as a multi check both ip's I use.
