But I checked the FAQ and I cannot find anything on how to delete a region that you are the founder of?

That's pretty much it. If you want to make sure it dies, set the password to something long and random, kick everyone out (you're the founder, right? Otherwise it's griefing) and hit the highway.

Next time it updates, your region is gone. 24 hours max.

I'm not certain that the minor update wipes empty regions ... and even if I'm wrong, I'm still right. {grin}

I think this is correct, but don't hold me to it. I have to check with Salusa.

i'm pretty sure both updates delete empty regions...
at least that's how it used to be..

i've left a region and refounded it in the non un update

So is it only the founder of the region and the UN Delegate (if checked) that can ban people without it being griefing?? How does the terms of banning work??

I guess a point to the right FAQ would help. :)

No. It's just the Founder. It's their region, and they can't be replaced except by extraordinary mod action, so only they have the right to ban without reason.

The UN delegate has to be extremely careful with ejections and bans. There are a number of variables to consider as well. I don't have a handy link, but a fairly quick glance through the stickies and recent topics will show this being discussed over and over again.

I'm the owner of my region and I have my UN Delegate options blocked off of the Regional Data. I also don't have a UN Delegate as of yet, but thanks for the info. :)
