With the proper deletion of the founder General Tommy Franks, it seems that everyone with a grudge is entering the region trying to announce themselves and try to egg on the natives into trying to be deleted themselves. While I know many here are going to flame me for posting this, I feel that the baiting should end. The DEN is trying to regroup after the founders deleation and it doesn't help that everyone is entering trying to start something. Let the region lick it's wounds and go after it in a day or two.

I'd also like to point out that, although I'm probably going to get deleted for this for knowing too much like in 1984, one of the defenders there just admitted that TITO get moderator support. I'd like a moderator to stand forward for this injustice, as this is very unfair. Here's my proof:

I don't know anything about mod support. I was simply stating that I don't have it. I don't know or care if anyone else has it. I just know that I come online and play my game, that's all. It's been pretty peaceful until someone has to say I'm flamebaiting.

I'm not trying to egg anyone on, for one thing. I tried, for the most part, to be civil. I felt as though I did a pretty good job at this, for the most part. Remember now, that I even admitted that I was invading. I would appreciate it if my words weren't used out of context to hurt me.

Tuesday Heights, it's a TITO member saying that he personally dosn't get mod support, but he knows of others that do. Korilla, I respect you as a defender, but you cannot deny what you posted. While I accept that you were civil in The DEN and I appreciate this, you did let slip that you knew other who get mod support. Are you denying that you said this?

First off, as I said before, I am not TITO. Don't confuse me with one of them. And for mod support, again, I don't know anything. I'm sure that there may have been some involvement somewhere in the past, but there is no way I can be certain of this. These are nothing more than speculations on my behalf.

My defender organization? Well, we don't exactly advertise ourselves. You probably haven't heard of us, and I'd like to keep it that way. It's just the rules.

This is my second nation. My first was deleted as an agreement with TITO after I spied on them for DEN, actually. DEN turned me in to Grub, and that's why I'm so happy to be involved with this invasion. So, to answer your mod question, I'm not, sorry. That would be kinda neat though, eh?

For the record, I am not the Moderator who handled any of these cases.

The official notations say:
"General Powell" - Permanently banned from NationStates for multiple incidents of UN multying and region griefing.

"Grippsholm" - Deleted for spamming region 'alberta' and UN multying.

"General Tommy Franks" - Deleted without warning for extremely abusive posts in reigon 'the_den' and using abusive puppet 'the_new_den'.

Now, I didn't take action on "General Tommy Franks", earlier today, because I didn't have time. But, I was alerted to the situation and I did copy some comments by him from the CH board of region 'the_den' and let the other Mods know about it. I didn't see any posts by whoever "General Tommy Franks" was replying to; they got bumped off before I got there. The comments involved were:

Sinn, quite frankly, you are a prick, and a 'non-raiding' prick at that. We don't even waste our time visiting your region (as you just pretend to be raiders) and you are a fu*king idiot.

The New DEN

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Sinn Fein is the terrorist organisation that has brought maiming and death to hundreds of people in the name of 'Irish freedom'. The Americans wised up to their terrorism after September 11th and Sinn Fein have been trying desperately since then to gain some sort of credibility ever since. There can be no credibility in bombing hotels and bars and NORAID (which was a terrorist sympathisers 'charity' active in the eastern United States prior to Sept 11th) has been rightly crippled.

Scum nations (but really, scum people) like the supposed head of the NAS (The NAS Sinn Administration of Leftie) pretend to have some affinited with The DEN. They do not, and never will. They are terrorist sympathisers and weak minded scum who pretend to have the greateer interests to the West at heart. They do not. Historically minded individuals will recall that the 'Irish Free State' was neutral in WWII and that neutrality cost the lives of thousands of American and British soldiers as they attempted to beat the menace of hate of the nazis.

Present day sympathisers of this and other other spurious causes will not receive any sort of tacit acceptance or support from The DEN. The DEN is a pro-Western NS raiding organisation which condemns terrorism in the real world and will not allow tacit hate-mongering or terrorist propaganda within its influence.

Those that disagree with this assessment can leave the region immediately... and should pray that their IP has not been captured by The DEN forum as it will be forwarded to anti-terrorism authotities in the United States and overseas.

The supremecy of The DEN as a raiding army in this make-belive world of NS will not overshadow the obligation of right-thinking people everywhere to beat terrorism whereever it may be.

Sinn, thanks for trying to register on The DEN forum, your world will be very different now. Look out for that knock on the door.

GTF could have handled the situation differently, I'm sure. I've spoken with him on a few instances and he seemed pretty civil. If he would have displayed the same character in these cases, we wouldn't be where we are right now.

Well, everyone is allowed to cite the history, as far as I know. Also we are free to use the name of every political group we want (yay, look at my name!). But apparently Nova Prussia forgot about the victims of the Prussian nationalism in the past and "spits on all those victims." Following this logic, we should ban all Nazi, American (not to sound bad but for half the world the US is a symbol of terrorism [ just like IRA or the talibans ]), Russian, Greek (they killed some people 2000 years ago), etc. names... But the truth is that Sinn did not even say something offensive.

Just to let you know, Prussia was the last German state to have a fully democratically elected Government after the Nazis came to power. The Democracy in Prussia was ended by the Nazis.

I've had the pleasure of acquintance with Sinn recently and actually had several conversations with him on nationstates, and i don't find any of his comments in any way aggressive or offensive. Shame on whoever is taking a GAME so seriously (watever that DEN region). Perhaps Sinn only took to a terrorist organisation because he found SOME parts of their cause appealing, such as freedom and peace. It doesn't mean he's a ragin lunatic ready to kill someone. Geez, this IS a roleplay game, you know ;)

Possibly the biggest terrorist attack ever to happen in the UK happened there 30 years ago because of the IRA. 200 people were injured and 12 died. Personally, I don't want any nations to take lightly the name of a major terrorist in charge of an organization who bombed innocent people when they were having a drink in the pub.
If anything, Sinns should be deleted (not that I want him to be). I strongly disagree with the deletion of The New DEN. That makes our count to only 4 DEN Field Marshals who havn't been deleted, while defenders make much more unfair messages. Just look at the regional noticeboard in The DEN.

Exactly. We have multiple violation of the rules commited by your field marshal and The new DEN while Sinn didn't break any of those rules.

By the way, delete all English names! During its "peacekeeping" or whatever operations, did you know that England "bombed innocent people when they were having a drink in the pub" a lot more? If we could delete all we don't like this game wouldn't be existing.

Actually, there is plenty of proof that the Birmingham Pub Bombings happened. It was it's 30th annivresary not long ago. In fact, there are lots of people alive who actually remember it or were injured in it. So there's my proof.

Alright, thanks for not going ape on me, like some invaders do...

I believe i have a rather large part to play in all matters considering the DENs recent occupation, and indeed Franks' deletion. As things have been extremely hectic recently i will try and go at this one slowly. Im sure you will all have seen the threatening and slanderous messages sent to me, and posted on the DEN and old raiding club message boards.
As i have done so before, i find i owe it to all those affected by this incident to recount my side of this story. Please only judge me after i have finished. Then at this time by all means call me a 'Nazi lover' or 'murderer' or some other of the charming expressions i have suffered recently.

Firstly i will thank the nations in my region, and indeed several others for defending me, Tora Bora Talibans and Sacralorn for a few. I will make clear now that i own three nations, Sinn Feins Ireland, Sinns right Hand, and Leftie. It is documented that i did not say anything offensive to Tommy Franks, either in telegram or on the message board. I Did make a comment on the message board in the DEN after the USA raid, offering my condolences at the unfair outcome of their raid. (Moderators had pushed the update time to prevent DEN troops from attaining the region) In return for this i recieved a telegram and message on the DEN board of an abrassive nature, though not yet openly threatening. I was banned from making comments in the DEN RMB, and told my remarks were 'unwanted' and 'pithy'. To this i replied in a cold yet polite nature. I left the region with my nation leftie to the Old Raiding club. The next day i found myself in the rejected realms, and with several long messages highlighted and well publicised previously in this thread. I ade no reply to these, as by this stage both 'The New DEN' and 'General Tommy Franks' had been deleted. This was fair in my eyes, though perhaps not for others. Now i hold no quarrell with the DEN or its troopers, one or two of which i am well aquainted with.
On friday the 10th TITO forces came and occupied the DEN, still there at the date of this publishing. These are the facts of what occured over the last few days.

Secondly, my Political beliefs. These are complicated, very much so. My nation name of Sinn Feins Ireland, and my abreviated character name of 'Sinn' are based solely on this politics. Had i in anyway condoned or even saw acceptability of any of the IRA's actions (provisional or real) since their founding then i would have called myself IRA's Ireland. I deplore violence, and am a vehement opposer to the war. I do however support Sinn Fein, and not because of what it has done, but because of what it wants now. The Peace Process, and end to fighting. Not just an absense of fighting; true Peace. This can only be attained if we look past events from 30, 20, 10, 5 years ago, outrageous though they were. To all those who have died at the hands of the IRA, and the orders of Sinn Fein Officials i can only offer my expressed regrets and sympathies, but i would advise you to look a few years further into the past, and see what other nations have done to those in Northern Ireland, so as to procure these hateful actions. It doesnt excuse it, but it might help to explain it.

Anyway, i support Ireland being given back to ireland, i could express my own tinted view on things, though this would be inappropriate at this time. These are just facts.

I do not know whether Franks Will return, and if so in what mannifestation, i just hope that the political tolerance that i have come to love so dearly in my region, The New Age Soldiers can spread a bit. Nations that i have worked with for over 6 months are fully aware of my political standpoint, and i of theirs. You need only look at the spectrum of politics we are host to. My Friend Tora Bora Talibans will concur. I hope we can put this all behind us. Any offense i may have inadvertantly caused any of you i apologise for. Game or no game, how we think and act is real, we must give each other the time of day to explain before we attack. Whatever the case.

It was only joking and fooling around. But I hereby apologise to all people affected, for not taking everything serious and for not posting only hate messages against my "opponents".

Oh and please, whilst you are at it and defend either gender's rights by fighting against sexual harrassment, start a movement against the nazi crap in this game aswell...but considering the amount of nazi regions and illegal symbols in flags, I suppose "biting" someones ear is more offensive than using Germanic runes and symbols which were (ab)used by people who made lamps of human skin.

P.S.: I was not warned for my major offence against the current Delegate Boolari. My apology was a creation of my own free will and love for sarcasm.

It would be pretty time consuming to research symbols from the third reich, search through all of the nations to find flags with those symbols, and prove (or even just judge) that they are explicit references to the third reich.
It would also be pretty stupid to govern fashion (for lack of a better word) now based on what germany did 60 years ago. If you want to destroy a symbol create a new meaning for it, after all that is what the nazis did with the swastika and little black mustaches.

Since TITO is not an NS nation or person or even an NS region, I'm pretty sure it would be nearly impossible to defame, flamebate, or flame whatever it may be within the stated rules of this game. It's actually a good question for the Mods. Is it any sort of offense to say intentionally derogatory comments about a psuedo-organization or group of players within the game?

Hard for me to conceive of how I could "flame" something that is at best an informal organization, but I'd rather know for sure.

I also had not received any TG about my comments (unlike Nova mine was directed towards CG), i am sorry for my comments, i should have behaved better.

TITO refers to a group of people, so making comments like the above is indeed flaming. After all, Boolari was required to take the comments towards DEN out of the WFE, wasn't she? And she certainly didn't write anything towards DEN as bad as "TITO sucks c0ck."

Making explicit sexual advances towards your "opponent," especially when they've asked you to stop, is still flamebait/flame. To compare that to Nazi issues is ludicrous and not related to the fact that these particular comments, in this particular situation for which this thread was created, are inappropriate.

I think the nazi comment works in this situation. It is not ludacris (although his music is good). I feel you guys should stay OUT of this thread if you have no relevent information to share and PH, I consider that flamebait.

Please you guys, ONLY POST updates on the situation. COMMENTS ARE NOT NESSICARY.
