I would like to have this flag for one of my nations but I am aware of the anti-swsatika policy so I want to check first
I've seen nations deleted for flags which look less like a swastika then this... so thats why I ask

If something looks like a swastika, then it only falls under the swastika ban if we think that the player intended for it to resemble a swastika. Generally speaking, if you look like you're theming yourself as a Nazi nation, then we'll be a little more strict. If you look like you're not theming yourself as a Nazi nation, then we'll be a little more lax. ...generally speaking. As usual, this is subject to Moderator discretion.

Different people have their own individual RolePlaying guidelines etc., in that they follow a different method of roleplaying. NationStates is a freeform roleplaying game, and as such you can do whatever you want. You can have one year of your country be one real life second for all that matters, however wether people choose to accept that as factual is a different matter altogether.
Most people that I come across roleplay under the "1 real life day = 1 NationStates year" rule, however each person is different.
Now, I must go back to my studying (damn finals).
