Can you unlock my thread.

I opened a liberal hypocracy thread. It's whole point was it was it was a stupid "gotcha" just like the bazillion "i've found a flaw in christianity threads".

That's all. I don't see why it was locked.

But if there is some reason, that's okay too. I'd just like to know.

I really think my threads serve a purpose, in that they should make people fell less self important.

In any event I would like some moderator guidence for this. (Everyone always enjoys themselves as far as I know).

Does that mean if I report future "Christians" do X threads they will be locked for being to sweeping?

I think you should give a link to the thread. Moderators don't have time to search for it. Things scroll away in a matter of minutes, and suddenly are on page 10+.

Um, yeah. If they're of the form "All Christians are ", chances are it would get locked.

Probably depends on how graphic the threads are, who is " X" and how many Christians are doing him/her at a time?

So this is okay though.

Kinda, though the thread title is misleading "Billy Graham Nails It" does tend to make folks expect pictures of Billy Graham crucifying someone.

Yes, it is, because it does not pin a negative label on the entire Christian community. It only challenges a specific individual's beliefs.

Is that a hard and fast rule then?

There are few hard rules in this game, many are merely guidelines with the Moderation staff using its judgement to determine where a given action lies with respect to the thin blurred line.

If you feel you need to insult Christians or any other group, don't do it. Play it safe, don't push the boundary.
