Same User With Multiple Nations?

Maybe a moderator could please clear this up for me,

Nations have been entering my region in surprising numbers. One minute we have 24 nations - the next we have 33.

We think it may be a user in the region attempting to replace me as U.N. delegate.

I have taken the proper precautions, password protected the region - and disabled the option in regional settings that allows the U.N. delegate to be able to change regional settings.

But I'd like for a moderator to maybe check the IPs of the nations in my region and see whether or not it is one person.

Maybe I could get a list of nations that are all one person? And I could then eject them?

Thanks. :)

Well... perhaps I should bring up a few things.

1. As long as one person has only one nation in the UN, its fine.
2. Innocent until proven guilty, could you please edit out the accused's named?

The Getting Help link on the FAQs page would be the right place to post this if you suspect cheating.

You are free to kick them out. Show them who's boss. You are the big cheese in the region, so now it is time to play the game. As founder you are allowed to eject everything that moves. No restrictions whatsoever.
However, if you suspect someone of cheating, you may also report it here("Getting help") (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/-1/page=help).

Sorry,

Edited the name out. Yeah it's fine I'll have all new nations identify themselves within 24 hours or I'll eject them.

As founder you are allowed to eject everything that moves....
...or, more to the point, everything that refuses to move. ;)

A cursory inspection shows that most of those nations are not in the UN. Having multiple nations is not, in-and-of-itself, an offense. Simply moving into your region is not, in-and-of-itself, an offense. You are the Founder, so you may eject them from your region for any reason or for no reason whatsoever.

Thank you everyone,

As it turns out - it was a region crashing attempt gone very wrong. I know this for several reasons.

A telegram was passed onto a supporter of mine and was then forwarded to me explaining that the plan was to bring all of the nations into the U.N. and then endorse the one nation - we will call Trinity Land.

Secondly, nine nations joining a small region such as mine in only a short while is pretty suspicious - especially when not one had introduced themselves.

But when I told them all to identify themselves in 24 hours or they'll be ejected - I was called controling by another nation and they all left right away - each one making a post on the lodge explaining they were leaving because they were scared of me. lol!

So - it was just a region-crashing attempt gone bad. :)

EDIT: Oh I'm sorry, one more thing: Cogitation - do you know whether or not the nations are the same person? Or are all different people?

However is not moving in and out of a region a spamming offence? Because it spams up the regional message board?

If you do it once, probably not, but if you're doing it multiple times to clear the RH board, then, yes, it is considered spam.

From what the guy was talking about i reckoned that there were multiple nations moving in and out. He was worried if they were the same person. If they were, then that would be considered spam?

If it's multiple nations moving in-and-out once each, then it's generally not considered spam.

If the nations were all puppets of the same player, then yes, that's spamming with puppets.

EDIT: Oh I'm sorry, one more thing: Cogitation - do you know whether or not the nations are the same person? Or are all different people?
I think they were all different people, so their moving in-and-out wasn't spam.

File a "Getting Help" request with the names and I'll double-check (though I'm almost sure they were all different people). Be sure to state in the "Getting Help" request that I asked for this to come to my attention, specifically.
