Why Are All of my UN Proposals Deleted?

I've made two for voting guidelines, the latter containing the former. I really wish I had copied the latter down because I had written in it some good ideas. It was called Anonymous Ballots/ Election or something like that.

More recently, though, I made a disarmament resolution and that seemed to last a bit longer than my other ones so I had hope that it would stay, but it disappeared as well. It was call "Cumulative Weapons Resolution."

I've looked in the case by case study of deleted resolutions, but none of my resolutions have been put there. Couldn't I just be sent a message to remind me of the context of the proposal and telling me why it was deleted?

Can anyone answer why my proposals have been deleted?
-Thank You

All proposals stay up for between three-and-a-half and four-and-a-half days, and then expire. It might have been removed simply because of time.
I've looked in the case by case study of deleted resolutions, but none of my resolutions have been put there. The UN mods remove dozens of illegal proposals weekly. Cogitation puts a few of them in that topic as representative examples. It was never intended to be a complete list.
It was called Anonymous Ballots/ ElectionI remember seeing something similar to this, proposing a change to how votes were counted. If it required a change to game mechanics (and that's what the title suggests), it was illegal.

The other one I don't remember. If you still have the text saved somewhere, you could post it for further analysis. If you didn't save it, I think it highly unlikely that the mods or the system save copies of failed proposals. The game doesn't even save resolutions that fail at voting, and there are thousands more failed proposals than failed resolutions.

Next time you submit a proposal, it would be wise to save a copy on your own computer. That's what most of us do.

It would also be wise to talk about it in the UN forums, they can help you.

Not really. The author doesn't have the text of the proposal and is looking for moderator input. This is the correct place for that.

I think he meant that Pyrrhonia should post his proposal if he ever finds it on the United Nations Board, because peer imput can't hurt. Maybe that is not what RSJ meant, I cannot speak for him, but either way, I, for one, think if more proposals were posted on the United Nations Board before being sumbitted, we would have a much better quality of proposal, and fewer worthless proposals to leaf through.

If a proposal you sent in is deleted, you will usually get a telegram explaining why it was deleted, and to let you know that you have a warning. Especially if Coggy deleted it.

You first one, with the voting thing, sounds like Game Mech. Your second one, however, sounds perfectly legal, and probably, like Fris said, died of it's own accord.

Also like Fris said, saving a copy of your proposal is a good idea, not only because you have it for multiple submissions, but also for spell checking.

It was probably too sensible and well thought-out to gain any votes, and died of old age.

What I ment was you could talk about it there, and they could say, "Hey, wait, here is an idea!" or, "They might delete it..." And you would have a copy of it (unless it was so bad it had to be deleted from there :D)

How would changing the way votes are counted affect game mechanics? Are there really automated elections for nations or something? I really just thought it to be a hypothetical idea that people would respect without it affecting the game's mechanics, which i never thought a hypothetical idea could. Is there even anything in this game with voting? I know there are some issues that come up with people that say "get rid of elections," but there is also one that comes up about abortion. Sorry, I'm just somewhat confused. I think my weapons one was removed after two days.

You do realize that we're all working in the dark here, since you didn't post a copy of the proposals? There are frequent proposals to change the way the UN votes, and your title sounds like one of those.

If that's not the case, apologies ... but just a bit of information here would help. No need to get mad at pure speculation.
