So my nation gets deleted, then my post asking why my nation got deleted gets deleted?
I'm really quite pissed right now, and it'd be awfully nice if someone could give me an answer.

Firstly, this goes in Moderation.
Secondly, I believe your first thread was deleted due to a reply from someone who didn't know very well, and posted something stupid.

yes indeed, that name is against the rules. if it was around for a while, that only means the mods weren't aware of it before.

But if you removed the "s" at the end, it would be OK, I imagine. What could be racy about an album cover? That is, unless it is, like, one of those racy album covers.

I think the mods might have made a mistake and read your name as 'Anal bum covers', when it means 'An Album Covers', or similar.

But, Azark, if you want a nation called An Album Covers, why not just put spaces in there? Then there would be no confusion. "An Album cover" is taken, but your original name (with spaces) is not.

I really doubt that name will get reinstated, no matter what you intended, because obviously people can read it badly.

oh yah now I see, I read it as anal bum covers as well... I would advise, you just recreate a new nation (as it looks like you already have), because If the mods saw it as that, and some other nations see it as that, it is bound to offend somebody, and most likely will not be returned.

As the nation name reads as something offensive and non-offensive, it's better to be safer than sorry, meaning your nation will very unlikely be revived.

Just sign up as a new nation entitled "An Album Covers" which should be okay.

On a side note, when first reading this topic, I did see it as 'an album covers' and thought 'what was wrong', but upon LE's post, it made sense. Just goes to show really...

If I may be so bold as to point out that the phrase "An Album Covers" is not grammatically correct, thus it stands to reason that the intended name was indeed "Anal Bum Covers," since it's the only one that comes close to making sense. Thus, the deletion. Also, if you wanted to clear up any misunderstanding, you could have put a space in "An album" if that was indeed your intent.

I read it "anal bum covers" also. I didn't realize until I was halfway through this thread. Unless, that is, the nation name really was "anal bum covers" and not "an album covers." But nobody's going to admit to that, I'm sure...

Thank you! I was wondering when someone was going to point that out. I was beginning to get offended when Erastide implyed that there was something preternaturally anal about my train of thought. Unless this is some cosmic grammattically incorrect coincidence, I think he definately meant Anal bum covers, instead of the nonsensical an album covers; mods gotta do what mods gotta do.
