Stickies for common topics.

I think that there should be a few stickies in the moderation forum.
1. A sticky for thread move requests.
2. A sticky for thread deletion requests.
3. Anything else you can suggest.
It just seems like there are about a million "Tread Move" threads here clogging up the forum. They could all be in one.

With all of the people who ignore the stickies already in place, I doubt it will make much of a difference.

People have been good lately about using threads that are already on the default "Less than 1 day old" list.

The problem would be that if everyone posted a bunch of problem all at once, the one topic would get extremely clogged and a few problems might be overlooked. Although only allowing certain people (mods) to make new topics in moderation would stop all the unnecessary "Why was I deleted?" topics.

We all know that n00bs that don't read the explainations for each forum won't read stickies.

The problem with a free-for-all request Sticky is that I think it would fill up way too quickly to be of any use, with Moderators having to go in and note every one that's been taken care of, etc.

Here's an idea, though I doubt they would do it. Make a sticky for move requests, flaming, etc, then when a moderator deals with what was posted, they delete that post. You can see if you request has been dealt with if your post is no longer there....

I actually find it easier to have things in separate threads. Makes it easier to tell what needs doing and what's already been dealt with.
