It's more like trolling, and I've been called worse for making valid points in the UN forum.

... as I've seen, Tuesday, there is an undertone in your posts which denotes fair play and respect at some level.

Vastiva, griefing is moving to a region and kicking large number of nations out.

Haven't you read the FAQ?

Face it - you're disrespectful and I called you on it. Cry me a river.

Thats pretty funny. He couldn't be bothered to try and give a good response so he went to insulting.

No, actually - she linked you directly to the post for a reason.

Her responses were no better - they were rude, and sarcastic.

This is the reason I constructed that post, to illustrate by example - how she was acting.

Look! (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7571328&postcount=84)
Here's another! (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7571616&postcount=86)
And another! (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7571630&postcount=88)

She was trying to make me look stupid, and feel stupid. Her comments were rude and they were obnoxious.

So before you go pointing fingers at me - take a look at some of her snotty little remarks.

Oh wait everyone, I've found some more. She makes others feel stupid as well.

Look at this! (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7567270&postcount=163)
Yet again! (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7571064&postcount=174)
And another... (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7571081&postcount=176)

See how she tries making others feel stupid instead of helping them? She acts rude.

Most of that is just stupid and if the mod's cracked down on it well there would be probally half the NS forum users modded...But still you oculd have just stopped posting and walked away.

And it seems she just loves pointing out how no one reads the un faq...I never have and never will personally because i think the UN here is a joke. (i dont know if it still is but it was before when anything could get passed)

IMHO, just posting to point out that people don't read the FAQ would be trolling.

I am not going to warn either of you as both of you have contributed to the argument here, after having read the thread; however, Aliste, you might rethink your strategies for debating. Vastiva was curt but pointed out the problems in your argument; you, however, began to take it to a more personal level. So reconsider how you respond to others, because that can and will get you into trouble.

I point you to this relevant section of the FAQ re: the United Nations:

So I'm a UN member. Now what?
The UN is your chance to mold the rest of the world to your vision, by voting for resolutions you like and scuttling the rest. However, it's a double-edged sword, because your nation will also be affected by any resolutions that pass. (You can't just obey the resolutions you like and ignore the rest, like real nations do.)

Your choices here are: 1) Work to repeal the resolution. However, many have pointed out that you are not likely to get much support unless you also 2)Write a better resolution (that's two separate steps). There are two additional choices: 3)Accept the resolution as it stands and remain in the UN or 4)Resign from the UN.

Hey Katganistan, thanks for settling this.

My strategies for debating are apt, seeing as though I have participated in several debates at my school on behalf of the Young Republicans. I am considered a valuable debater.

But unfortunately, as you can see, I am also sometimes told that I need to grow some thicker skin. Heh. As you pointed out, I took it personally. I just felt she was being rude - is all. And that is when I stop debating and start getting angry.

But whatever, it's over now. Vastiva and I are now teh best of friendz! :fluffle:

Heh.

shouldnt this disscussion take place in the original thread where the griefng, trolling and flaming is happening? You have set up a new thread to watch and criticise another, why not criticise people to their cyber faces?

The UN forum is for debate on NS UN issues, proposals, and resolutions... since rule-breaking was occuring in that thread, that issue is of Moderation, and as such, is taken up in this former so as not to clutter the UN thread in-of-itself.
