I just got this:

"Your telegram to 'White Power World Wide' is something of a flame, and it would be prudent to watch that sort of the thing in the future. Records indicate you now have two rules violations on your record; a third will result in the deletion of this account."

Umm, their nation name alone should be a clue. They advocated white hate in my region, and I responded. I can only imagine what my first offense was. I have been here over 500 million without incident, yet a random encounter will delete me? If you are pissed because I have the MODERATOR as my national animal this is discrimination Please look over my account before a long-established nation is deleted.

I have grammed this to every nation in my region--I am close to them and they know I never did anything wrong.

ok so my only question is, how is it discrimination if they wouldn't want you having "moderator" as your animal? (not saying that's the reason).

Moderator was placed instead of what they did not like.

Anyhow, I believe having the Moderator as an animal is illegal. [Like, having the 'Jew', or 'Nazi', as animal is illegal].

Wrong--There is nothing in the rules that states this. To say we can't make fun of the mods is never stated. This is a game by His rules. No where does it state that mods have some God status that can delete nations that say they suck. I am being disriminated against, and unless they don't want me to make a big deal out of it, I will stop with the Mod as an animal and make peace.

I hate this discriminate mod crap--you have Nazi nations and hate nations out there--but I said no white hate nations in my region and you threaten me? No better way to spend your time? I have saved every scrap you have ever sent me and will forward it to who ever if I must. If you delete me here I have the saved logs and will send them everywhere else I can. Go pick on those who deserve it. I hate this "I am important crap indiscriminately applied--I had a guy in my region who wanted to kill niggers." Where were you then?

Just chill Kritosia, you've not even had a Moderation Staff reply here yet. Your grasping at straws over the " Moderator as National Animal " thing, and seem to be trying to deflect it all away from the fact you got warned for flaming some one in a telegram. If you actually wait for a Moderation reply then you might have something to bitch about then.

Oh, and if you send your " evidence " every-where you can, I feel it important to warn you, you might get reported some where for " spam " as a consequence ... ;)

Um, hate to burst your bubble, but since Max Barry - the God of this site, after all, he did create the game - instantes mods to overlook this game, then, their word is law. Period. It doesn't have to be in the rules.

Besides which, having a mod as your national animal can, IMHO, somewhat be flaming... after all, sometimes you do eat your national animal, right?

yes, the moderators can delete a nation for saying they suck, though they'll find other rules that will make it perfectly ok. Back when I was a noob, I got mad at glorious hack for some stupid thing that I can't even remember now. I created a few nations to basically say he sucked, one was "GloriousHack IsAFool". That one was deleted for "being too close to the name of a moderator nation". Don't dis the mods, they run this for Max so he doesn't have to go around deleting random people... (and I bet, if Max ran it all, he would go around deleting random people for the hell of it).

Not allowing the word moderator in a nation discription is in no way "discriminating" anything. It is simply disallowing words.

RE: My national animal. I originally had one that I'll admit was in bad taste (but was meant to be funny). I was asked to change it and I did, to the Moderator. This was also meant in jest--and anyone who looks at my nation will see that I am an environmental freak who treats my national animal as a beloved, protected species. I thought it was cute that the Moderator frolicked freely in my lush forests. Certainly, they were not on the dinner table.

Anyway, I am assuming that was my first rules "violation", although it was all in fun and I don't believe cause to rack up a point towards deletion. In any case, I have changed it because I think your points are well-taken, and it is such a small thing I don't want to get out of hand.

On the other hand, this "White Power" flaming accusation is serious. I don't remember what I said to this nation, but I am sure it wasn't nice. But, why is telling someone who came into my region that I don't appreciate him advocating racism in my backyard getting ME in trouble? It's actually comical that a nation created to disseminate hate is the good guy in all of this. I suppose I should have just reported him here, huh. Stupid me :rolleyes:

I only sent it to my fellow regional members, who are all close to me. We protect each other, and I thought they needed to know about this. I would never spam people!

You could have let him know how you felt in a civil manner. It's quite easy. I deal with stuff like that all the time and I'm not in danger of being deleted (that I know of), simply because I don't get worked up about stuff. You should try it.

You know, I don't appreciate the snarky attitude. I'll admit I started off badly here, but that is not a reason to make it sound like I am some jerk 'cause I wasn't civil to a racist. This is a hot-button issue and sometimes people (like me) react with emotion instead of tact. If I sent a "flame" to a racist region, was it random? No, of course not. I said something because they were in my region saying things to me and my fellow nations that were inappropriate. The fact that I did not run off crying to the Mods I guess is my mistake, or else he would have been reprimanded, not me. Next time someone says something I don't like, I won't handle it myself--I'll come here to complain!

also i still have the tg in my in box as well as the mod response which says that it was only a mild flame. i dont mind a founder asking me to leave, more often then not i get a tg from a founder welcomeing me to a region as i did yours

Ok, I give up. I am scum for asking the nation in question to leave in my own way. Funny how that nation suddenly knows he is being discussed.

I think what you advocate is the worst of what makes us human. Word--we all evolved from an African ancestor, so you and I and all modern humans have this DNA. Ignorance of the basic principles of biology makes you think otherwise. Take a class sometime, and find out you are the product of black genes.

PS--If you are so ignorant you don't understand basic biology I want nothing to do with you. I am appalled that you are ignorant of the basics. A Theory in scientific terms means that it has been proven--unless you produce the Messiah I think faith and fact have been established. Although you do have that grilled cheese sandwich. Way to go! War and disease aside, I manifest myself as a sandwich.

Now if we can all just cool off for a bit and wait, we might actually have something official looking to get pissed off about, rather then turn an Moderation Forum thread into a mud slinging match and all-star-conjecture-rumble over who said what-where-how-why-when and what they all think about the other guy.

You come here to request help, not to vent every which way at each other about something that got you ( well, some of you in this case ) here in the first place.

I am the Moderator that handled this case. I find it somewhat curious that Kritosia is failing to mention the second telegram I sent him just yesterday [maybe he hasn't posted since he go it, I can't tell], but at any rate I said nothing about your national animal, to my knowledge, and there is nothing in your warned tag on the Mod Centre that indicates you were warned for this by anyone else. As far as I'm concerned, that's not an issue. What is an issue is flaming, which you seem to be close to doing again here.

Also, you complained about your first violation--having your national animal as the 'One-eyed trouser snake'--being a joke and apparently not worthy of a warning. This is simply not the case, as we warn anyone who has an inappropriate national animal/currency/slogan or what-have you, and we're not about to make an exception for you or anyone else.

As far as the flaming goes, I can't say I understand what you're complaining about. The message you sent White Power World Wide really wasn't all that bad, compared to some of the stuff I've seen here in the past. However, it was a flame, and it has been treated as such. You're not being deleted, so what's the problem here exactly? You've got one offense left, but if you're a rule-abiding player like you keep saying you are, then what's to fear? Just stay on the straight and narrow and you'll be fine.
