Regarding campaigning for delegates

I know I will probably just regret myself writing about this so I will just ask for a verification if it exists such a rule or not.

In the RR there are some 'puppets' writing continuasly about unendorsing Kandarin in some purpose. Probably for someone else who is campaigning. I really don't know, they haven't given out a name for someone else to endorse. So what I am asking about is how the rules stands in campaignings for delegates in normal.

What is allowed to do against the opposition and what is not allowed?
Are you allowed to write "UNENDORSE this one and that on" in the WFE for example?
Are you allowed to send t-grams telling people to unendorse another person even if you aren't mentioning another person to endorse instead?

Items like that.

and now the wailings can commence about 'adn' being modfilers. hey, I only asked for clarification, alright

After reading in the Popcorn Kelly thread I guess writing "Unendorse that one" isn't legal to do continually in the civil hq even though you write something else before it.

Thus you cannot do what the senator in rome did after each speech (no matter its context) and end it with ".. and I also think that Carthago should be destroyed"

What are other things you aren't allowed to do in trying to keep the delegate seat or trying to get it. What are you not allowed to do against your opponent?

The same rule applies to endorse/unendorse messages that applies to recruitment messages- once a day is reasonable, and spamming will get you warned.

Ok. So sending out 'Please unendorse this nation one and please endorse this nation instead' is allowed as long as I send it one time only per nation?

And its also allowed as long as I only do it once per day via the Civil HQ?

How are the rules regarding WFE (not that I think Kandarin will write "please unendorse that nation" I am thinking more about the opposition when they come to power)
Is it allowed to write "Please unendorse that nation" in the WFE because you are afraid off the opposition.

(Yes, sounds strange to go so far, but RR is a ejection free haven.)

As long as it's not spam, flaming, or otherwise violating the TOS, the WFE is fair game.

I am sure I have seen something during the Francos Spain happenings about it being illegal to ask people to unendorse someone. But that doesn't mean that my memory is good, so many things happened during that era.

Thanks for your answer anyway.

That was deemed illegal because large groups were doing it. If you do that campaign on your own, and send only one message to each nation, it is not illegal.
Just make sure that nobody in your army is doing the same.

Well, if you are referring to recent actions in the RR about campaigning against Kandarin, I will say that if I was overdoing it I have no problem with toning it down a bit.

However, from my recollection there were many instances that there was debate and discussion over the very issue, so talking about who I was campaigning for (or against in this case) was in fact very relevant to the topic at hand.

There is one little tidbit I would like to say though. As far as the posting goes, this was the only nation that I own that was making posts. I think it is very unfair to label anyone who may have agreed with my viewpoints as mere "puppets". None of those nations were mine, and they spoke of their own accord.

No offense or anything, I just think that it is somewhat disrespectful to make that assumption without evidence simply because more than one nation agrees with a certain viewpoint.

Just to calm you down two notches. I wasn't even thinking about you. So I haven't been unfair towards anyone. The reason I started this topic was over two 12 million pop nations and nothing else. If you feel you fit into that description I cannot hinder you.

Unless a moderator thinks there are any rules more to think about in this issue, I suggest that the thread gets locked.

Well, I do apologize if I was being high strung about this. Been a long week, and lately my home region has had problems with a few nations being deleted so we're all a bit tense about that.

But yeah I had been campaigning against Kandarin for the past few days myself, that was the reason I asked about all of this.

Well, doesn't seem like there is much else here to talk about. :-).
