I don't think its really against the rules, if its not offending anyone, and since it will be the basis of an interesting topic, I don't see it being a problem.

Post it here and one of us will give a verdict.

According to my company's firewall:
ACCESS TO URL IS BLOCKED
The URL: http://www.martinlutherking.org/rapperlyrics.html is blocked for the following reason:

Access denied by WebWasher DynaBLocator content category. The requested URL belongs to the following category: Hate and Discrimination.
I'd add a Not Safe For Work warning as well.

it can be seen as that but it can also be seen as a source of info(it even provides where the lyrics are from)

In my non-moddy opinion, I'd say that it probably isn't allowed/acceptable. Sorry.

In my non-moddy opinion, King's heirs ought to be suing stormfront.org and David Duke for libel for posting that trash. I didn't even get to the rap lyrics. Hateful place.

Okay guys, this is really the kind of thing where non-mod opinions don't amount to squat, no offence.

I've skimmed the site, seems to be a series of lyrics intercut with (unattributed) news stories about black-on-white crime. Of course, as it's hosted by Stormfront, I shouldn't be terribly surprized.

That being said, we have never censored Nazis on the forums, as long as they didn't go nuts and break the ToS. If you want to link to that site, you can, provided you add a warning tag. The one you posted here that it may be offensive and/or not work-safe would be sufficient.

Now, this isn't carte blanc. If your post is flame-bait, it'll still be locked, of course. And while we won't condone flaming, be aware that you may very well be flamed for this. We will, of course, punish the flamers, just giving you a heads up.

Note: This does not amount to us supporting the claims made on that site, nor us supporting Stormfront in any way, shape, or form. All we're supporting is your right to reference a site run by a hate group.

With respect, I disagree Hack, non-mod opinions count for something, even if it's a small something. It's true that us non-mod's can't make rulings, but the site in question was designed for the general public of this site (if allowed,) of which non-mod's take up a large percentage.

We pretty much know the rules just as much as you mod's (well most of us...) We know how we feel about the site in question, and if at the very least, our non-mod opinions may (or may not) help those who make rulings, make a ruling.

We could just leave the modforum alone. There is no need to go against a mod's wishes. There is a whole wide world out there ;)
I most certainly will not argue the value of my posts here. This forum is called "Moderation" and not "1 question, 20 different answers".

With respect, I agree with Hack. A case such as this is purely a judgement call by the moderation staff, and therefore the beliefs of the players as to what a Mod will decide do little more than lengthen the thread.

I see your point, but I value everyone of your posts, much more than any mods posts, they are greatly amusing and interesting !

Not to be a pain, but this is the Moderation forum, not the "funny post" forum.

I think this equine has been flogged, flayed, and liquified enough.
