Why do mods lock threads because they don't like the topic rather than locking threads that are actually posing a problem. Why do conservative threads get locked while liberal ones continue? i know this thread will probably be locked while the one putting pro-lifers on trial will likely remain open.

I've seen that once, but as a whole, the Mods seem pretty good about keeping it fair for everyone.

Why do conservative threads get locked while liberal ones continue? i know this thread will probably be locked while the one putting pro-lifers on trial will likely remain open.I think during the Elections, the mods noticed alot of duplicate threads appearing as well as alot of flamebaiting. Most of the threads locked were repeats of other threads or it degenrated to name calling.

Of course I know one Thread that was locked because it literally dared the mods to do so.

First of all, this goes in the Moderation forum.

Second, threads that violate the TOS/FAQ are locked without consideration to whatever viewpoint it advocates. Believe me, mods have been accused of being everything from Nazis to pinko commies.

Third, if you have a complaint with a specific thread, create a thread in the Moderation forum asking us to review it, and why you think it violates the TOS. Making a thread flaming the mods for doing our job gets you worse than nowhere.

I find that the Mods are rather Partitioned in thier Thread-Locking.

Being a rather staunch conservative, I think I can assure you I don't have a liberal bias.
