Mod Rulings?

Every know and then, I hear about a new mod ruling on recruiting or spamming or region invasion and whatnot. And when I ask where these mod rulings are located, the answer is usually, somewhere in the forums. So I do not see any mod ruling threads, so my question is, where is this elusive thread, or is it a bunch of separate threads? And either way, can I please get some links?

They are scattered hither and yon, but the best place to look would be right here in the Moderation forum.

...or you can just ask. That'd probably be easier.

A sticky that contains basic mod rulings for common problems might drastically reduce the number of complaints. Obviously, it wouldn't stop all of them, because not everything is a common problem, and people will try to twist the facts to their advantage (human nature - not pointing at anyone), but you will get the occasional person who will see the thread "MOD RULINGS", check it, and figure out that they shouldn't bother to post.

For example:

Recruiting notices: Limit recruiting notices to one per day. Shoud you have definitive evidece that someone is doing more than that, post it here and we will check on it.

Spamming: Posting more than x amount of messages in a row on a regional message board is generally spamming. Founders are exempt from this rule in their own regions.

etc...

(Please note that I am not a moderator and the above are not official rulings, but simply examples. DO NOT USE THESE AS ANY SORT OF EVIDENCE IN ANY APPEAL.)
