You posted something that can easily be taken as a threat to kill the first African American president of the United States. Feel lucky the police aren't beating you with their nightsticks while yelling that you are resisting arrest right now.

Not only was he deleted, but all of his posts were as well. Not even the usual markers of him having posted are left. That is what surprised me.

But people quoted him, and the quote boxes were still there so I saw some of his comments.

True. But the fact the mod wiped his posts as far out of existence as he did surprises me.

There is a big difference between threatening to kill a regular person and threatening to kill a president.

Killing the president can get you charges of terrorism, treason, something related to weapons, and murder. Killing Joe Blow is a case of getting murder and something related to weapons. Both assume you are arrested on scene. So, yes, there is a difference.

At a guess, it's probably because you never reported either of them so we didn't know they'd happened. Much as we'd like to be, we're not omnipresent. Wait, that would involve being in every sweaty gym sock in the world. Scratch that we'd like it.

If you can present something more concrete than a pair of quotes [ie a link to the statements in question or a telegram still in your inbox] we'll look into it. Threatening to kill another player is as serious as threatening to kill the US President.

well the first post was ment as a joke (note i do not even own a gun)
