Suggestion

I wasn't sure if this should be directed in moderation, but if stickies can be easily added and removed to fit the need, I'd like to suggest that since we now have a policy of allowing just a single UN resolution thread when a resolution is on the floor, that that thread be stickied.

The current resolution is showing signs of nations not seeing the discussion and starting splinter threads.

The other reason to streamline the discussions is because those of us archiving the UN debates (for NSWiki and the United Nations Association) both are having to grab all of the threads. Fewer threads make for easier archives.

We've always had that policy, it's just not always been strictly enforced.

Stickying the current discussion might be a good idea, but it could really complicate it for moderators. I wouldn't be all that opposed to it myself, but I'll see what some others think...

This is a very good idea. Usually several threads pop up in relation to a topic, but a mod could merge them all, then sticky, or just pick one and lock the rest.
