Invaders and tiny regions.

I have a question here.
There is this region, with only 2 natives. A group of brave invaders decides to invade this region, and another group moves in to defend against these invaders.
Then, the two natives post on the Civil HQ, a thank you note to the defenders, and the message that they would rather find a safer region. They leave the region, and no natives remain.
Now, what happens next? Since there is no native left in the region, can you still kick all non-natives, even if that would leave the region empty?
Just wondering, I doubt we will defend this region any longer, not much sense with no natives.

Er.
Interesting...
I would say that if the only natives pack up and leave, it's kind of a free-fire zone. Either side can kick the other and lock the region. I'd still send the password to the two natives, just in case.
Um... any other Mod want to weigh in on this mess?

Yeah.
Invaders/Defender/Raiders always manage to find all the pathological cases. :p

Okay, seriously?
I believe that nobody has the right to mass-eject natives or leave natives on the banlist; that's the rule we're going by. Thus, if the only natives voluntarily vacate the region and don't intend to return, then the region consists only of invaders and anybody may be ejected. Still, any password should be given to the two natives.

Say they leave to region B, which get's invaded after their arrival, they become natives of that region, do they still need the password for their former region then?
That will probably never happen, but just in case.

I would think they still need the password. (Just in case the warring non-native fractions bombard themselves to death and the original natives decides to go back to a desolate home region).
Wich brings me to my question.
How high are the chances that the winning side will get modbombed if they follow this ruling? I mean, there are slim chances this scenario arises again but if it do and those involved read this... and a outsider modfile the winning side for griefing..
Whats the chances of getting a real big bomb from the mods? Any bets?

Well, dear Coggy, this actually happenend, in some region with a hard name, I can give it if you want.
We were defending, they were invading, and suddenly the natives posted on the CHQ and left, leaving us there :D
I know, it's a weird situation, but I just wanted to make sure on how it should be handled.
Thanks to you all for your input ;)
