my main nation, Science and Research, has been deleted and I don't know why. I havent broken any rules to my knowledge. I found out while i was trying to log on. please, I really would like to have it back, it was my first nation in nationstates, my UN nation, I was the UN delegate of WWSETI

well if that was your main nation it may be gone for somting one of you puppets did

I can't really answer that for you, although, I'm sure the mods had a good reason to do it. They don't just delete nations out of fun & games, or out of spite. I suggest just waiting patiently for a mod to read the thread and respond to it.

UWF, I was going to tell you not to simply hypothesize, except it appears that by random chance you were right this time.

I'm not the one who took care of this, however, my notes suggest that you were impersonating a player for the purpose of causing confusion/griefing. Please realize that this is nothing more than a guess until the mod who did this comes along to address the matter.

One of my puppets got some serious flames from a nation called Admiral Janeway. That is almost 7 months ago now, but I hope it gives you a clue. Flaming is not nice, and I did report it.

i never flamed, a couple of months ago, I was a lone nation in the UFP, I have been there ever since. I refounded it just recently and I am trying to build it up. I would never flame. Show me these telegrams, I NEVER did that.

by the way, how could i impersonate a nation? just by looking at a nation they would know that it was not the real one. Listen, delete all of my nations if you want to, but at least keep Science and Research. I don't even have to be in the UN, just keep that one, and maybe Admiral janeway, I am in charge of a region of 24

I am also an active member of the WWSETI region. I can vouch for Janeway's (A.K.A. Science & Research's) credibility. Mods, I can tell you that if he's been deleted for flaming or hacking or whatever he's accused of, you have the wrong man. He would never flame or hack anyone's nation. He has been our best UN Delegate ever.

I know that I did, i am sorry, i just want S+R back, thats all; please, Mods believe me, I wouldn't do that. All I want is that one nation back

And as for posing, i don't know how I could do that, all of the flags i create myself, or they are pictures cut. The names, I don't know, you should be able to look at the nation and notice that it is not real. Why would i pose, i have no reason for it.

Science and Research has been part of WWSETI almost from the first day of the creation of this region. To my knowlage he (Science and Research) has been working as part of WWSETI region and he has never shown any illwill against any nation. I think some one has done a misstake and should A.S.A.P. reinstate Science and Research nation. Or show PROF of misscondoct!! WE at WWSETI is Outrage over this blaten missuse of power by a Game Mod and with out giving us ANY PROF!!! and as a region founder I should be told by game mods, if a nations is doing wrong against the game, in my region aspecial my UN Delegate!!!

I say Give us prof or reintate Science and Research TODAY!!!! IF No prof is presented today the GAME ADMIN should overrule this miss judgement and reinstate Science and Research. and FIRE the offending game mod!!!

I help one of my nation, when they went on vacation and then 2 month later I got a warning !! not when it happen!!!! And yes after a requested an explanation I was explanie what have happen.

I can only see this as a major problems with the Game Mods.... One they don't do what they are supose to do each day or they don't care. in eather case they should be fired and new game mods sould be found.

First of all, NationStates does not have a statute of limitations policy on rulebreaking... why it took two months I do not know but a rules violation is a rules violation and we reserve the right to deal with it whenever we please. We've dealt with over eighteen thousand tasks to date, so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that we can be pretty swamped sometimes.

Secondly, I gave you your proof. Stop whining.

RBS -- You might remember me from The Strong Alliance of Power region (and when you had the problem of other players trying to hack into your nation)

Please give the good Moderator a chance to explain further. Your upset over just how bad the Mods are does not help matters.

From what I know of NS Moderators (and btw I am not one) they volunteer their time here on NS, trying their very best in enforcing game rules evenly, across the board.

I am sorry for the pain and upset that the deletion of Science and Research's deletion has caused you. Yet as previously noted, S&R was warned (and/or his puppets -- I don't know/just discerning the situation from reading about it) against rule violations and he didn't apparently listen -- much to his peril.

Having observed that situation unfold between the regions NAZI EUROPE and The MT Army, I can only surmise that Science & Research had/has puppets in the service of advancing nazis on NS. And given your own World Factbook Entry on your fine region WWSETI -- I know you are ardently against nazism.

The impersonation of the nation "Vippertooth33" with the now deat "Vipertooth33" (notice the single "p") took place just in this past week or so.

That would be an interesting thing to see. From what I know of some of your puppets, you have some of the most active non-UN nations on NationStates.
Indeed, I often admire your wordplay and deft (even as I cringe at your nazi politics).

Obviously, I am not the Moderator, but I would guess that taking out your most beloved UN nation is proper punishment for the situation.

Please RBS try to understand that unfortunately the player that held Science and Research led a double life here in NS. That in of itself is one of the joys of this game. Yet there are consequences for breaking rules.

Second I don't think you have a valid reson. if you had you whould have given us the reason and why it was done.
If some one is making a nation that is to close name to an other nation ERASE THAT NATION not one that have been in one region for so longtime.
I'm a mod in 3 other forums and ADMIN for 2 and I have 3 Websites and I"M NOT PLAYING "we reserve the right to deal with it whenever we please." it have to be rules that even MODS HAVE TO FOLLOW!!! Other wise we get as we now are getting that mods erasing nation when they don't like some one and then isen't held respocebly for their action.!!
Yes I know it is hard to be a mod or a Admin. but we all have to adhear to the rules.
So what will hapen now? will I be next to be erased, because I want proof??

Maybe the game should make a limmited amount of nation an person (isp #) could have. :D (So what is the game Admin and Mods says about that?) ;)
Yest I know that it's darn hard work to be an Mod or Admin!! And some of them was helping me when we hade problems in our region and I will take of my hats to them. I do not hate mods in here or in the game. I just want it to be fare to everyone. and the rules should be te same for everyone!! ;)

I lost sight of the original complaint. You were inquiring about being deleted, and Melkor has given you the facts you requested, correct? Perhaps this thread can now be closed?

I don't think there should be a limit on the number of nations one can create. Not only would that disappoint a lot of puppetmasters or players with a lot of ambassadorial nations, but it would also add a lot of enforcement work for already overworked game staff.

I want EVERYONE in NS to see this!!

I never broke the rules. Why the hell does everyone have to gang up on me, I did nothing! How could I do that? As for leading other lives, most people do that here, I have a lot of responsibilities, so what? And who are you people to say weather or not what I am doing is wrong. I AM SO SICK OF THESE PEOPLE HERE!!

Everyone acts like they are THE authority, and they are better then everyone else. Because of this, people begin to fight, they begin to hate, and create "wars" out of arrogance. Even these so called "wars" are stupid as hell, no one ever wins, you can't have another nation fully deleted (unless you get them on "rule" violations), only take their region. All the members do is move to another region, and continue the fighting.

I have always followed the rules of NS. You people are seriously more power hungry then ever, especially the mods. You guys never think about the welfare of the player, just your own feeling of power. People never seem to get the justice that they really deserve here; one bad move, and you are hated, guess what Mods, PEOPLE AREN'T PERFECT!!!!!!! I have enough problems in my life, I don't need the Mods and others telling me what kind of a bad person I am.

As for deleting my nation, I am still on NS, one way or the other. I still have some influence, I still have power. One nation doesn't to a thing for anyone around here. I still exist. I want S+R back because it ws my 1st. MODS, GIVE ME MY NATION BACK!!!!!!!

I dont know whats going on but this seems odd .. ive only known Admiral Janeway over aim a few weeks and i haveint heard any thing about him or her flameing ... i dont want any trouble to befold my allaince becuse of this.. or my region . . i still find this odd

And if that is what i did, taking what i have away isn't going to do a thing. Like i said Mods, YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PLAYERS AT ALL!!!! YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT POWER!!!!! And I am not the only one who belives this, most of the players do. The only reason why people are nice to you guys is because you have that power, NOT ME. The crime that you have charged me with, even if it is true, does not justify for the deletion of S+R. Especially if this is my 1st offense. Its about time that the Mods start listening to the needs and wants of the players, without us, you would not have anyone to exercise your power on. You guys have become tyrants, you become worse and worse as time goes on. You seem to pick favorite nations, listen to them, give them what they want, and "to hell with the other players". You know, I rarely post through a lock, but I thought I'd make a point. We have no reason to declare you DOS. Yeah, you screwed up, you were caught and you were punished for it. As far as we're concerned that's the end of it. Please, continue playing the game, that's fine with us. Just be a bit more careful with the rules, that's all.

Finally, criticizing the mods is not worthy of punishment by itself. We definitely don't appreciate it, but people are allowed to criticize authority here. I should mention, though, that if you keep doing it, especially after it's been decided that your accusations are without merit (which, I should note, they are), it becomes a different story and is breaking the rules. So, hopefully you've gotten it out of your system now and we won't have to meet again. Right?
