I think you're dead wrong, this is an incredibly FUNNY topic that ought to be there, it's political, just not politically correct.
MY country had soldiers killed by Americans in Afghanistan. I can still laugh. Just because you Americans for some reason refuse to poke fun at your military/industrial sacred cow-beast, doesn't mean that others can't or shouldn't.
The rest of the world isn't sliding into fascism and dictatorship - only the US. So why not let us have our fun then?

I'll try to explain more clearly and succinctly why I saw that thread and deemed it trolling.
It's generally accepted that 'copy-and-paste spam', or using stand-alone controversial articles, opinion pieces, editorials, or jokes without commenting on it or giving an original analysis that puts it in some kind of context is unconstructive and trollish.
There are a lot of controversial opinions, insults, and derrogations flying around these boards, and no, it's not my job to censor anyone or punish someone for holding unpopular or irrational views. I do, however, believe that a few lines making fun of a sensitive topic, without putting it into any kind of context, aimed against a specific group of people, is trolling (urbandictionary.com (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=trolling&r=f) defines this best, if I'm using this ambiguously).
