acording to Sticky: Ruling on the General Forum (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=276811) which states that there may be a maxim of 1300 posts per thread before it is locked
then shouldn't Atheists Dying (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=349436) be locked as at this time it has 2040 posts

General Forum threads will have a 65 page cap (1300 posts), at which point, they will be deleted if they are mostly spam (quote pyramids, word games, flaming, etc)

The convo may have seemed non spam to the moderators, and therefor nothing was done to it.
or locked if they are mostly legit conversation (chatting/debating/etc).
It does then go on to say the above quote, it may have just all legit convo instead of most.
Or as TH stated, it may have just been overlooked :P

Spam threads are either locked and deleted or moved to the Jolt spam forum. Legitimate discussion/debate threads are left as they are.
