I can confirm the spam. However, it appears American Woman has also taken it upon himself/herself to "clear spam," too, which since he/she is not the Delegate in that region is also considered spam.

There's a difference between spamming and clearing spam. Clearing spam is a right given to the Founder only and in cases where there is no Founder, the UN Delegate.

I need to go double-check, but I'm pretty sure that this is not exactly correct.

Founders do have the right to clear spam. However, this right is not passed to the Delegate in the absence of a live Founder. If the Founder is dead or non-existent, then nobody in that region has the right to clear spam.

I am not the UN Delegate nor the Founder of our region, but I am considered to be the second-in-command. Our UN Delegate has NO power, and is a meaningless title. I don't want to be in the UN. We are encountering massive spam problems (see Anime related thread). Other devoted members have also cleared spam (thank God).

I was told a while back here in this very Moderation forum, that ONLY founders have the power and authority to clear, UN Delegates don't under any circumstance.

You can be creative about bumping the spam. Throw exploding bananas or engage in conversation, that kind of thing. That's what I've seen in the Pacific and the West Pacific.

You can be creative about bumping the spam. Throw exploding bananas or engage in conversation, that kind of thing. That's what I've seen in the Pacific and the West Pacific.

Or actually engage in conversations with your own puppets. You do run the risk of being called suxors by a gamemod, but that is not deadly, I think :p

(I was called suxor, because I reported the spam and bumped it off at same time. I didn't expect such a fast mod action :headbang: )
