A search using your name yielded no results for "studs", it was more than likely deleted, though I am unable to tell for what reason.

Yes, links to games that, when a user clicks on the link, you get a rectruitment bonus type thing, are unwelcome here.

It was an out-war varient? Lucky he didn't get his nation deleted... we really don't like those kinds of links...

Unless it advertises his books, otherwise there'd be no point in NationStates.

Yeah, in fact the game was created to advertise his books. He said it somewhere...

My point exactly... as for location to where it said... try at the top in the blue bar of any page on NS, or in your nations links bar on the left of the main game.

Here's just one of the mini hints Max himself has dropped around his web site (http://www.maxbarry.com):

Just in case this is of interest to anyone other than myself, the textbook is Strategic Internet Marketing 2.0 by Susan & Stephen Dann, and it talks about how the NationStates game I wrote helped promote Jennifer Government.

Note the emphasis. :D

I have a question concerning outside links in sigs.
Have just been made a mod on another site, and the admin asked me to help him "pimp" his board. Am I allowed to have a small link to it in my sig here?
Its not an illegal, or porn site, just an online arcade games site.

I think the concept of no advertising except for Max's books is pretty clear. It doesn't matter what you're advertising or, as you call it, "pimping." <shudders>

I did read this thread, but its a bit confusing, and just want to know for sure, yes or no.
The site concerned is completly free, no profit or selling, and has nothing to do with clicking for points/cash.
If the answer is no, thats fine, just thought I'd ask.
Sorry I used that word, maybe I should have added a smilie, to show it was meant in a lighthearted way:).

Other users have advertised their sites in their sigs without a problem. I'd say go for it as long as it isn't obnoxiously huge or what have you.

Thanks for the answer :).
