Hey, my previous nation "Who is da Daddy" was deleted sometime within the last 24 hours, can someone clear up why it was deleted? It was deleted completely without warning AND, seemingly, for no reason at all.

Slightly unfair, don't ya think? It was almost a year old (at the end of the month) and to wipe it out just like that is taking it too far.

I've never ran into any hassle with any mods and people in general, so what's up? :confused:

Did you activate it regularily? I mean, did you do your issues and stuff?

For the record, I am not the Moderator who originally handed your case.

However, looking at the official notation, you were warned for a bad motto on September 4, and then deleted just recently for telegram spam. The notes aren't any more specific than this.

I agree with the moto deletion, I had it from October last year and it was removed in September: that is fine. I have no beef with that. :)

The telegram spam? By any chance did an invading Irish member report this? Did he mention that he was taunting me and I simply replied once? Probably not.



I think whoever deleted it was a bit hasty and could have at least handed out a warning (from something that was exaggerated anyway). :(

The official notation only mentions a spam telegram. It doesn't get more specific. You'll have to wait for the Moderator who deleted you to reply.

If someone else is breaking the rules, then report them. Do not insult them by telegram. Rule violations do not justify additional rule violations.

Oh... so it is possible to be deleted like that ? with no warning etc etc ? just because someone reported that i'm insulting him/her and maybe it is not even true ? wondering if it has a meaning to continue....

I feel for anyone who has had their nation deleted after they have had it for so long because my first nation Great--Britain was deleted for trivial reasons too...

I am a friend of SR16 and i would just like to say that he's been playing the game for a long time and if he did 'flame' up then it was more than likely provoked by another nation, possibly the invading Irish that he mentioned before.

As i understand it he was TG'd by one such nation and insulted in the telegram, he of course Flamed back, this is a natural inclination and even i recieve these telegrams from loons who hate our region. I just delete them, but i suppose anyone could have enough of it and flame back.

In my opinion it is not worth deleting his nation over, i would say that a warning should have been given before he was deleted so that he would know that he is being watched etc. I myself was given such a warning and i heeded it, it seems my freind Who is da Daddy (SR-16) was given no warning for this telegram incident and thus i would just like to say he is a good NS player and that he should be allowed a consideration about this issue.

Of course i am not a Mod, i am just raising a point and giving my opinion.

PS: I know the name of the person that TG'd Who is da Daddy (SR-16) and the same person has Flamed and insulted me before, but i am not going to name him unless you need it.

I know of occasions where a nation has been restored. If you come up with good information, you have a chance. Whining and complaining never helped.

You always get at least 1 warning. It is never just like that, for nothing at all.

Personally, I always simply delete insulting telegrams. Never bother to answer them ever. Remember that the other party will not hessitate to report you on the spot, though he might just have insulted your whole family in a previous telegram.
I once got a telegram saying: "You stupid c*nt, I am gonna report you to the moderators for flaming, you f*king m*therf*cker!"

Trust me starting a petition isn't going to change anything, i was going to start one with about 50 nations in the Federal Commonwealth Society to bring back my first nation Great--Britain, but the moderators never change their mind so i have for the moment suspended that idea. Also dont insinuate that their stubborn or control freaks because that doesn't help either, even if they are!

The thought never crossed my mind.

The thing is the Northern Ireland region is quite well known to some moderators, its been a topic here once or twice. This deletion is actually a product of that as SR16 replied to an insult by an Irish invader. They insult us quite often so it isn't a rare occurance.

Since SR16 has to wait until the moderator who handled the case to respond, why don't the rest of you take your nonsense elsewhere, okay? You certainly aren't helping his case any.

I do appreciate the support people, but like The Most Glorious Hack says: you aren't really helping my case.

Not to clutter the thread any more, but I would like to point out that deletions do not occur right away when someone reports you for something. The Mods do look into the situation by examining TG inboxes, etc.

Any verdict, yet?
