Why was this (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=363363) thread closed? I understand that the topic being disscussed was about illegal behavior, but shouldn't it still be open to discussion? Why not? It was just pointing out an oppertunity for flaming...

A conclusion had been established on the initial topic of quotes and their workings.
Besides illegal behavior isn't negotiable or up for discussion, you brake the rules, then your punished, no middle base.
Well that's the logical reason.

One we are well aware of: which is why I read entire threads when claims of bad behavior direct me to them. Several times I have found people doing exactly as you were doing, and they have gotten their knuckles rapped (or worse, depending on the situation).
