New Granada has been constantly (and I do mean constantly) posting a link to an incorrect history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He states that it is true and doesn't bother to acknowledge that the web-page contradicts every single bit of Mormon history. Normally I would pass it off as a simple mistake, I have done similar things in the past with other religions and events in history, but he continus to do so even after actual Mormons tell him it's wrong and give him the correct facts. It's gotten to be that that I'm positive he knows he's being an idiot and just wants to annoy everybody. He posts it in threads on Mormonism and other religions (Including my thread on Judaism) and seems to enjoy goading others into arguments.

However, it is possible that he honestly does believe his idiotic page so I'm hesistant to label him as a troll outright. If you could, please investigate.

Frankly, the only way to fix all the stuff wrong with General is to take off and nuke it from orbit.

Well, we wouldn't tolerate someone going around posting consistent falsehoods about, say, Bush's reelection platform (OMG Bush wants to eet ur babies!!1). Nor do we allow blatant flaimbaiting against a religion and believers of that religion (muslims are evil and should all be killed)...

Here I'm grasping at straws and using the fact that he's hijacking a thread to report him, but his constant asking of the same (offensive) questions over and over again is really riding against me.

Also, I do realise that my "Get the hell out of my thread" post was improper and shouldn't have been done like that. I threatened him with Mod action before I even asked him to leave (In fact, I didn't ask at all) and was just impolite. I'm sorry

I was unaware that max barry and the moderators vested you personally with the power to declare that certain threads were "not question threads" and creating a rule against 'asking question in klonor-specified non-question-threads'

It was very nice of them to do that for you, but perhaps they should put a tag of some sort by your name so that people know you are really a quasi-moderator.

Considering it's my thread with a specific point, the explanation of largely dead stereotype against Judaism, and you diverged from that point, asking questions about a completely unrelated subject, I do think I had the right to complain.

Perhaps if this were "Klonor's private message board" or "Klonor moderated nationstates" you would have a right to complain, but as it stands this is a public forum where the public can discuss whatever it likes, in whichever thread that it likes.

When max barry puts out an announcement on general that says "Ruling: Klonor's threads are hereafter confined to whatever Klonor says is o/k to talk about" you will have a right to complain.

Until then, you are for all intesive purposes harassing the mods.

When someone starts a thread, it usually has a particular point-of-discussion. That point-of-discussion might evolve to a different (but related) point-of-discussion, but it is expected that anyone posting to the topic will remain on-topic.

You clearly and deliberately posted questions not related to the point of discussion.

It is also my opinion that you are not merely posting questions about which you are curious, but rather that you are posting questions with the intent to provoke angry resposnes; part of the operational definition of trolling.
