I recived this msg:
"This nation has been determined to be in breach of UN rules, which allow each player to have just one nation in the UN at any given time. This is an official warning, to allow you to rectify the situation. If you do not comply, the UN will be forced to take action against you. " What the h***!!
I like to have some answer.
I have only ONE (1) nation!! Hagge nation, My girlfriend has an other but, so we shouldn't not get in troubble, SHE IS NOT AN UN MEMBER!!!!
All this started after I have hade somone trying to login on my account. No, she was at work!! All this started after Nazi Europe try to take ovcer my region, but I stopped it by loocking the region up, by requerd PassWord.
I send 2 msg to Moderarors and haven't got back no answer or responce. So I thought since I don't get any responce I will post it in the public forum. (but it probly will be deleted)
I think someone is behind all this crap and we like to know who and why????

Calm down, otherwise the mod's won't be inclined to answer you at all.

Also do not telegram mod's about it, that too, tends to make them avoid the case.

I used the q&a to do that and they should not get piedoff because this problem is ruin this game....
I have put to much time and money in to this to let some creeps destroy it. Money you say yes I even boufgt an web name and site... so I like to play this game....no have to tiptoing around because some lowlife like to pretend that they are big guys.

For the record, I am not the Moderator who handled your case.

However, I'm looking into the matter. I'll have to consult the Moderator who issued the warning telegram, though, and the original Moderator will have to make a decision on this; I can't unilaterally override another Mod.

Hagge: The expenses you incur as a result of playing this game are irrelevant in enforcing NationStates rules. Now, we are looking into this matter and we will get back to you. Please be patient.

Also remember that individual Moderators may be inactive when you telegram them and wouldn't be able to respond to you, anyway. The "Getting Help" page is a better way to ask about these things.

nazi europe never tried to take your region there is no point you have a founder
though a good number of people did leave your region that was there choice we had nothing to do with it

Hmmm, 3 things,

1) If you are so worried, you may of course change your pass-word to a large random number-letter combination, just make sure you know what it is, and as a safe-check, make sure the email addy for your nation is correct ! ( In case like me, you tend to forget such things ... )

* It helps to write it own some-where if you do this, mind you ...

2) It is of course possible some one is just " messing " with you, so don't get too angry, at least not in an open fashion, ;)

3) I'm about to log off / run go-bed.exe ( so to speak, ;) ) , but if I can I'll drop into mIRC about this and remind #themodcave about this thread, in case they can see via IP where the failed log-in thing is coming from. I'm not sure if they can, but, ( shrug ) worth a shot I guess.

About the bad logins: Yeah, change your password. Make sure that the password contains small letters, CAPITAL letters, numbers, and a special symbol of some kind (like + - _ / : ; or whatever the game will accept).

About the UN warning: The Moderator who originally handled your case has turned the case over to me, so I'll do a complete review when I have time. At the moment, it looks like an honest mistake on our part, but I still have to do that review, first.

Okay, the telegram that was sent to "Hagge" and "Science and Research" is a semi-automated telegram. A Game Moderator presses a button and a nation gets this message:
"This nation has been determined to be in breach of UN rules, which allow each player to have just one nation in the UN at any given time. This is an official warning, to allow you to rectify the situation. If you do not comply, the UN will be forced to take action against you. "
In other words: "You look like a UN multi; get out of the UN or we'll throw you out."

Now, this telegram is supposed to be sent to nations that look like current UN multies. However, in this case, "Hagge" and "Science and Research" were past UN multies, from July 28 to August 2. So, the warning telegram claiming that they were current UN multies was in error. This looks like simple computer-sharing between two people; I don't normally grant benefit-of-the-doubt like this, but the Moderator who originally handled the case apparently saw fit not to immediately eject them from the UN, so I am going to uphold that part of the original decision and allow "Hagge" and "Science and Research" to remain in the UN.

However, the "You look like a UN multi; get out of the UN or we'll throw you out." warning telegrams have been retracted as they are not current UN multies.

I'm going to take this opportunity to reiterate something: DO NOT SHARE COMPUTERS! DO NOT SHARE UN-MEMBER NATIONS! This makes you look like a UN multi, and instead of being firmly told to get out of the UN immediately, you might get forcibly ejected without any advance notice at all. "Hagge" and "Science and Research": This means you; if you don't let this happen again, then you should be fine.

The problem regarding the failed login attempts to "Hagge" are still being investigated.

I must echo the previous comments about changing your password,Hagge.

I'd like to share my method which I believe is un-crackable,if you use it you should be perfectly safe.

I prefer to use an easy to remember number sequence,such as your birthday.

I'll use today's date, 10/2/04 as an example:

Keep the "shift key" depressed when entering all characters and use the number keys at the top of your keyboard to enter the numbers! (don't use the number pad on the right).

When you enter 10/2/04 using my method,it looks like this: !)?@?)$

Practice with it and you should be OK !!!!...........lol (thank me later)

If anyone can guess my p/word I'll give them this nation!!!!!!!!!!

I thanks everybody. I have seen this "try to find his/hers password" in quit common I got some telegram and even e-mail from othe gamers that have the same concern. I send them a copy that I recived from Game Mods and I looks like many members hade problems with "as*h**es". :gundge:
I just wonder if the next version could maybe solved this problems? I personal can't understand why some few lowlife :sniper: have to destroy for many that really like to play this game. ;) I spend hours on this game and in my forum plus in other regions forums.
