Do something about it. I was barely able to see Myrth's warning. There's plenty of topics that can be either unstickied for their uselessness ("Pics of General Forum Users" and "NS Player Profiles" seem to take much-needed space).

Perhaps do one of your fancy "one sticky for a dozen stickies" threads like you do in II. Because I don't see why we stuff the new and hot topics halfway down the page for 10 threads that gain one post a day.

Colodia does have a point. Those damned stickies at the top are intrusive, and take up loading time in my browser. A nice multi-purpose sticky would suffice.

1. Second on the page, when I saw it. And it's not like it doesn't blend in with the other stickies.

I'll take another look and see if there's a logical way to combine some; however, I never considered it a problem. At present it's 8 stickies out of 33 threads, and two (Jim and Roan's announcement and Myrth's warning) are not going to be permanent -- just up a day or two.

And, uh, yeah. 1, 2, 2 and a half, 2 and three quarters......

After consultation, we've decided you're right.

The IRC threads have been combined into one, the profiles thread that wasn't being updated was destickified, and the websites thread moved into Gameplay which is better suited for it anyway.

It seems the number of stickies in General has been halved! ;)

So.... as to the Profiles/Pics threads. I would *like* to keep updating them, but I can't figure out a way to do it without constantly taking up space in general. Or in the pics case, bugging Myrth to update every so often.

I actually have the updated profiles list on my comp, but i'm not sure i could get through the necessary 26 posts before someone interuppted me. :p

If the 2 could be combined into 1 sticky with links, that would be nice. :)

Or if you just want to start a new profiles thread and keep it updated, I'll sticky it for you. If you just put in the 26 posts, I can delete posts by any other people who post in it. As for taking up space, two of those stickies will be coming down soon anyway. If you want a mess of stickies, you should see Forum 7. Heh.
The pictures thread I'm happy to update when it needs doing.

I vote for current, but that's just my opinion, not some ruling.

So since I agree with Unfree People, I've updated the NS Profiles to the current players only.
