Question about Gatesville

Last night a large number of our nations were booted from Gatesville for UN violations. Can I just ask what these violations were? Also was there a general check done on everybody last night or were we the only ones?

Multiple UN nations.

That region was just subjected to a random sweep.

You'll find that most times a nation is ejected from the UN, it's due to UN multies.

You'll find that most times a nation is ejected from the UN, it's due to UN multies.

Occasionally nations are also ejected for making too many inappropriate proposals.

However, I've never heard of anyone being ejected for saying: "Death to the liberal U.N." ;)

Thanks Myrth (and everyone else). :) Just a quick one. If anyone thinks there's been a genuine mistake is it better to deal with it here or through TG? (Obviously I'll check to make sure there's no "college computer" type stuff that's happened).

File an appeal through the Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/-1/page=help).

File an appeal through the Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/-1/page=help).

And if moderation denies your appeal, you can always appeal to the administrators at admin(at)nationstates.net - however, admin very rarely overturns mod rulings.

You won't get your ejected UN Nation back into the UN, so even if it is a genuine mistake that you and someone elses nation were ejected, you will not get the nation back into the UN. (The mods just can't tell if its a genuine mistake or not)

So in answer, I wouldn't even bother trying, but if your feeling lucky, try at the Getting Help page as others have stated before.

A UN ejection will almost never be reversed. If an ejection was made, there was clear evidence pointing to the nation being a UN multi.

Thanks. One last question and then I'll stop bugging people. ;) If a nation has been kicked out of the UN for being a multi, is that player banned from the UN for ever or merely for a specific length of time?

The nations in question are banned forever, the player is not banned at all.

However, as long as you adhere to the UN rules, you can create a new nation and join the UN with that one.
