This nation was deated and the WP forum totally blanked. I'm not contesting that but I would like to know what he did.

Was he spamming the regional forum or what? I've heard that he was doing this but never caught him at it, so I'd like some clarification.

If he was a West Pacific nation, and the West Pacific CH board was wiped, then I doubt it has anything to do with the South Pacific.

I repete again that I was in the South Pacific, but it was a mistake. I only visit there to talk to Curly or Entrance. At this particular time I was under the impression I was in The West Pacific. When I found out, I apologised to the people there. Shaft, their deligate is also on my case. Yes I have wiped the boards in The West Pacific because I thought I could as a CommRanger. I was only copying what Nadnerb does very thoroughly when he is on.

As far as the 'spamming of the forums' (three of them) is concerned, I had no idea you couldn't draw attention to an injustice by any means at your disposal. I apologise for doing that.

If you wiped the boards, then that is spam, only the founder, fail his/her presence, the UN delegate can clear the boards.

I have no idea what a CommRanger is, but I know it doesn't allow you to wipe the CH boards.

The last time I checked you weren't allowed to flame anyone on the forums. Could you conduct yourself in a more civil manner?

Incorrect. Only the Founder may clear the board of spam (and must state that he/she is doing such). The UN Delegate does not have this authority under any circumstances. If a region has no Founder, then nobody may clear the board.

I was not entirely aware of this - thank you for the clarification.

There was some confusion about what was allowed/desired from our CommRangers (branch of the WesPac government). That was resolved a while back - no one clears the boards (it was "aside from me" but in light of the above....). CommRangers are there to encourage conversation participation in the West Pacific (among other things). I was not aware that this person (Tweedy) was actually a CommRanger, but that isn't my department.

While I doubt there are any other violators of this policy I will be sure to confirm with the CommRangers and reaffirm policy.

Okay, I could have sworn though I saw that a mod said a while back that UN delegates were allowed to do it providing there was no alive founder, anyhoo, if your sure bout it then I know now ;)

This just goes to show you no-one has the slightest idea what the rules are, and because of this Tweedy was deleted. It was like the blind leading the blind. CommRanger ... I thought it was a license to do a bit of anti-spamming like Nadnerb does ... just as he did it in The West Pacific. I once questioned TAO about how Nadnerb could get rid of spam in the South Pacific, and TAO said he could because he was a CommRanger, and he asked if I would like to become one. Of course I did, and now I'm deleted!

And Nadnerb gets off Scot Free!
