I know where the saying comes from... used it from time to time my self. The "joke" has nothing to do with race however, and your use of a highly offensive, racially motivated word was ill thought out at best, and very inappropriate.

I had only hoped that someone of an official capacity had said something to you about it. Still waiting for that to happen.

Dude, chill out. I apoligized. Didn't mean any harm from it, and I won't do it again.

I wasn't flaming; I was making what was apparently a bad joke. Now calm down a bit; I'm not going out of my way to offend people.

I dig The Eye. Hell, I freaking love The Eye. Having said that, I think that it would continue to have a greater impact if you saved it for special occasions, such as you used it for the thread in question.
