Multiple ads/spam in non-feeder...
Hi. Daniel Japanica has been repeatedly spamming my region, which is, obviously, a non-feeder called North Pacific. He has posted advertisements at least twice within the last 14 hours, I do have saved copies of this and some of it will probably be on our HQ for the next few hours. This is not the first time he has done so, and he has been warned by us before about doing this.
The problem is that at the moment our HQ is really busy with very important discussions, already Daniel's ads have consumed a lot of arguments and counter-arguments. Our Delegate is also not the most active of people... Can anything be done about this? A warning, a revoking of spamming rights? ( )
He appears to have a regular 'route', visiting us every few days. He's also been posting such ads in various non-feeder regions, which I think is illegal. Can anything be done?
Oh, and apologies if this has been posted in the wrong place. I'm still learning my way around all these stickies...

No problem.
That guy is one of the worst spammers in the game right now. I have lodge a couple of complaints with my UN nation. I hope that this report will do him in! :headbang:

The spam in "North Pacific" was bumped off, but I was able to confirm spam in "Lazarus".
Remember: regional advertising is not allowed in "Lazarus".

6 minutes ago NationStates Moderators Remember that regional advertising is only allowed in the following regions:
"The Pacific"
"The North Pacific"
"The South Pacific"
"The West Pacific"
"The East Pacific"
"The Rejected Realms"
Advertising is not allowed anywhere else without the permission fo the Founder or Delegate of the region you want to advertise in.
Advertising is not allowed in "Lazarus" under any circumstances.

Does this means that if a delegate gives permission, in a region with a founder, it is okay to advertize? Even if the founder never gave permission?

Try "without the permission of Founder or, in absence of a Founder, the Delegate..."
In other words, I'd say no.

I apologize for the ambiguity.

In my personal, unofficial opinion, it's a moot point. If the Delegate went around approving advertisements that the Founder didn't like, the Delegate would very quickly find himself/herself banned in most cases.
...assuming, of course, that the Founder was active. ...and that the Delegate wasn't an invader. Hmmm....

And ofcourse in cases where the founder has a split personallity, and is pretending not to be the delegate. Imagine me being founder, saying "no", while in the function of delegate, I say "yes". In that case the "founder" part of me should not be overruled by my delegate alter-ego :p :p :p :p
Yikes! Always have to make it more complicated. :p
