Apparently the nation of Communist Mississippi was just deleted, CM asked me to ask the mods why this occured. :confused:

You should rest assured there will be people rejoicing over this event.

It could be that he just got deleted due to ignoring the issues? But if not then only the mods will know.

Curious. I wonder why myself. IC, I'm happy, OOC, I'm just curious as to why, as there was little reason why he would have been deleted, as far as I know.

Well, CM thinks this occured because some nations accuse him of being FWS, which has been proven to be false, even Myrth acknowledged that he wasn't FWS.

I mean you can hardly take the word of IDF (Who was likely using forged chat logs, which by the way are so very easy to forge) against IP information.

I think it's important to remember that Myrth is a forum moderator and does not have the same access to information that a game moderator does. It could be that Myrth seen no evidence based on the information that a forum moderator can access as opposed to a game moderator. I don't if this is the case or not. I personally have no knowledge of the situation. I just wanted to point out that may be what happened.

I wasn't the one who sent them, it was another user, but I was being informed of the progress on whether it was sent or not by the people who did have them

Slags has gone to bed. So, I suggest just letting it go for now. If he has more to say on the subject I'm sure he will tomorrow. If not, well, that's the way it goes. You can always contact the admin if you disagree with a decision. I must warn you though that rarely does the admin disagree with a mods ruling. However if you want to give it a try go for it.

2. I did not have it out for Communist Mississippi. The only time I've actually read one of his posts was when he sent it to the mods to see if it was too racy to post on the forums. Honestly, is that the best argument people can come up with the unexplained? "Oooh, I'm not entirely convinced of what was posted; it MUST be a grudge!"
3. IDF did not send me logs. It was another user who requested to remain anonymous.
4. The information I accessed on the Mod Centre was a bit more concrete than what Myrth was capable of digging up on the forum's options. I figured it'd be clear to most that game mods have access to more information than forum mods, but it's clear I was wrong in this respect.
5. There is a chance that the logs I received were doctored, but there was sufficient alternate evidence to suggest otherwise. The person in question mentioned that he "felt like a rat" for bringing this up as well, implying that no animosity existed between this person and the past griefer in question. Also, please don't "remind" me how easy it is to forge chat logs. I'm not an idiot; I know how easy it is to open a text file, press backspace a few times, and type new words using the keyboard (standard with your new iMac!).
6. Nowhere in my post did I say that Communist Mississippi was Fascist White States. Nowhere in any mod's post was it said that Communist Mississippi was Fascist White States. Why did you all immediately jump to that conclusion instead of a scenario in which CM was, say, Marathon or Zoland or another one of our menagerie of DOS lovelies?

Actually, ignorance is strength, bucko. If you're going to accuse me of being some by-the-books Big Brother, at least do so properly.
