Earlier, CM requested to post an RP that had some sexually explicit content. Have you reached a decision?

As far as the post was concerned, we mods reached the concensus that the thread was too explicit to be posted in the forums. The things included (strong sexual content, for those unaware) can be implied or approached tactfully; the thread in question contained no attempt at tact, so it was summarily rejected.

Incidentally, Commie Miss's deletion had nothing to do with the contents of that post, so don't start speculating about it, loyal conspiracy theorists and Smoking Men. ;)

There's already been a thread about that, and Slag has presented his reasons for making the decision. I don't think this thread is the place to further debate the subject, especially since the thread with his reasoning in it is locked.

On the contrary, I don't think he ever actually did present those reasons...

Jeebus cheese-gratin' Christ, enough with the jumping to conclusions already. Let me clear up a few things.

1. I work two jobs, I'm a full-time student, I'm struggling to pay bills, I've got an active social life, and I'm getting married in a year. If I don't answer your post in ten minutes, it doesn't mean I don't have answers; it means I don't have time. The only reason you're seeing this here now is because I can't sleep.
2. I did not have it out for Communist Mississippi. The only time I've actually read one of his posts was when he sent it to the mods to see if it was too racy to post on the forums. Honestly, is that the best argument people can come up with the unexplained? "Oooh, I'm not entirely convinced of what was posted; it MUST be a grudge!"
3. IDF did not send me logs. It was another user who requested to remain anonymous.
4. The information I accessed on the Mod Centre was a bit more concrete than what Myrth was capable of digging up on the forum's options. I figured it'd be clear to most that game mods have access to more information than forum mods, but it's clear I was wrong in this respect.
5. There is a chance that the logs I received were doctored, but there was sufficient alternate evidence to suggest otherwise. The person in question mentioned that he "felt like a rat" for bringing this up as well, implying that no animosity existed between this person and the past griefer in question. Also, please don't "remind" me how easy it is to forge chat logs. I'm not an idiot; I know how easy it is to open a text file, press backspace a few times, and type new words using the keyboard (standard with your new iMac!).
6. Nowhere in my post did I say that Communist Mississippi was Fascist White States. Nowhere in any mod's post was it said that Communist Mississippi was Fascist White States. Why did you all immediately jump to that conclusion instead of a scenario in which CM was, say, Marathon or Zoland or another one of our menagerie of DOS lovelies?
7. I remain (less) awesome (than Hack).

Goober beat me too it. That said, I don't think this is the place to discuss it.

Anonymous means that the person in question has not supplied a name, or that their name was not taken. In this case, the "tipster" did not wish for their name to be given (is what I am inferring), so therefore guesses as to who it was are inappropriate and rude.

And as said before, don't bring up deletion debates. They usually end up with people pissed off at each other, and what's done is done.

I'm sorry, but that didn't answer me - the only evidence that was ever mentioned was A) chat logs which both sides say may have been doctored; B) An IP check that revealed that CM was not, in fact, FWS, or anyone else, as far as I know.

Now, as the administrator on another forum myself, if there's a way better than that to tell if someone's been using multiple accounts - I'd be happy to see it.

Read more thoroughly - I said "or anyone else"; I understand that he may have been playing this other person...whatever - I'm willing to accept that something may have happened now - but that you - especially because you're a mod - jumped to conclusions instead of reading my post, frankly, that scares me.

It's easy to miss that part when multiple people like you, in multiple threads keep bringing FWS up. Furthermore, you all seem to think that you're entitled to an explanation as to the deletion of players other than yourself...odd.

When, in fact, the future and past of my nation is basically irrevocably tied to that nation, yes, I think I have a right to know why I should go to great effort to change all that.

The mods have said in the past that no one but the deleted nation is entitled to receive an explanation of why it happened. The mods often humor us, but they are not obligated to do so.
