Mods: You can lock all those topics. Was a mistake for me to make them, I was bored. Just wanted to see the reaction. Please don't lock the vegans one.

Because, you were already unofficially warned to knock it off - IIRC - so, now, you're getting it for not listening to the moderators.

BTW, yeah, Jap can be an idiot and an ass sometimes, but some of his threads are just fun, or yes, stupid, but no more so than some of the "political" threads. People need to stop having hissy-fits over the stupid stuff and start complaining about real problems, like the constant flaming.

Again with this mystical flaming of which you are yet to provide me an example of.

Dempublicents close to the end. Not much of a flame, but still.

http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=353892
There was one you deleted there...I'm sure there's many more. Vaulted whatever is just being stupid. Dempublicents right above him, that was a troll. There's a post by Keruvalia on the next page that's a flame/troll/whatever to republicans. Just below that, American Trash (and from what I've seen, he flames quite a bit). Then back at him by Keruvalia.

http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=353953
I point this out mainly because of "Jeebus", which many people would find offensive. Other than that, no flaming, but he is being stupid and biased.

Keruvalia's post. Troll.

That should be enough for now. I can find more, but I just looked in the most obvious threads.
And, for the record, no, these aren't bad flames. Any smart person would ignore them, and I usually do. So, instead of just deleting spam, why not just ignore it like you're supposed to ignore flames?

Oh, and also, for the record, I saw quite a bit of unlocked spam. Some of it was pretty hard to miss, which means the mods obviously don't care. And just so you know, there is plenty of POLITICAL spam out there too. Just because someone slaps "Bush" or "Kerry" on the thread, it doesn't make it not spam.

Now, I know a lot of it is in fun, and many times they were asking for it.
I would agree with half of them and ignore the other half.

But...

It's the same with spam...If you don't like it, just ignore it. It's not clogging the servers, and it's not hurting anyone.

What's wrong with that? It's idle chat. Most of the threads I've had to lock of yours have had people posting '*waits for the lock*' so don't you think it's rather obvious people are aware that it's spam?

I understand. But like I said, people are encouraged to just ignore this stuff, so why not ignore the spammers?

Spam is, essentially, about getting attention. If you ignore them, they'll leave because they're not getting attention.
