44 minutes ago: The Gopher Republic of Alberta2 ceased to exist.

Hi I was wondering why my main nation alberta2 just ceased to exist. as far as i know i have done nothing wrong. i havnt insulted anyone or been a un multi. could a mod tell me whats going on please??

With all due respect Alberta did nothing wrong as far as I know. If it was for the double post we didn't consider it spam and he apologized for it. Actually most of us are not sure why he was deleted? It would help if we knew.

well the mods sent my other nation (adacan) a telegram saying i had spammed another region. im pretty sure they were talking about me moving to the imperial coalition to post a message. i accedently double posted and immediatly apologized. why would this be grounds for deletion???

If it was unintended or accidental, I am sure the Mods will take care of it. However, votes for reinstatement don't affect this. Neither do polls.

Then take it to them and good luck... You'll need it! I had a problem with a friend who used a computer on my network and now I have a bloodstain on one of my puppets and the mods are not giving me the benefit of the doubt, so, don't count on anything. You can ask questions and have all the support in the world, but they won't let up...

I am from the so called "Spammed Region" and Alberta should be,..um..? I guess "revived" is the word. I understand that the MOD's get this kind of problem everyday but if a kind MOD is reading this please find it in your heart to do the right thing. Nah, thats too corny. But you get the point.

Yeah, you've noticed that too? Lol. I'm new, but it still seems like there's been a disproportionate number of things that were at least questionable desicions since I've been here, (sorry for the crappy spelling) even taking into account the large number of members. They seem to have the attitude that because they're overworked once they've taken a quick look at something and make a flip comment there's no reason that they should have to explain themselves to the common masses. For example, an issue that I was very close to was the Olympic Resolution. While I can see their point on not allowing it, they refuse to consider removing Hersferd's (I think I spelled *that* right.) warning, after admitting it was a minor point.

Perhaps, but unfortunately, the mods believe different, and that is what counts. The mods saw something on the CH board that they class as spam, however many other people say otherwise, that is what matters.

Because of this, unfortunately for you, your nation will stay deleted.

Especially as any mod who is perhaps willing to listen, will need to talk to the mod who deleted Alberta2, before any action has taken place.

I feel sorry for you, but I think it's a lost cause. Personally, I've left the UN, left my region (they sorta kicked me out, long story, false accusations), and am simply doing the game at the most basic level, just doing issues.

I honestly dont think thats spamming, i mean how many people accidently double post, tons (ive done it myself several times by accident), how many people are deleted for it, not that many i know of, in fact Alberta2 was the first one i heard of being deleted for double posting.

I think the mods sometimes look for reasons. They found one in the letter of the law and for that reason seized their opportunity.
