Please Revive Galdania

Revive Galdania

Hello, can one of the mods or violet please revive Galdania?

The problem is, however, someone changed my password and e-mail adress somehow, so there is no way for me to log in with that password.

So, if a mod could revive the nation, that would be great. And then e-mail me the new password at count_red@hotmail.com

I - may be mistaken - but was under the impression that the moderators can revive a nation, but if the e-mail/password is incorrect and you need that password sent to a new e-mail address, they cannot do that, because there is no way to verify if you are the originial owner of that nation.

Like I said, I could be mistaken.

They should be able to do it

I think pass-word altering is in their power, and while it may be hard to prove the identity of the claim writer being the owner of the original nation, I suppose there is the possibility of an IP check amoung the other anti-cheat methods, but it would naturally depend on records, present conditions with the claim writer, etc, etc, etc.

Why don't you just build another nation?

Well according to what I could make of the FAQ, I don't think the moderators change will change a nations password.

No, although it's recommended. If you don't supply your e-mail address and you forget your password, there's no way to get it back. This means your nation would be consigned to limbo for all eternity. Think of your poor people.
According to what that says, if you lose your password and don't have a working e-mail, you can't do anything about it. However, if the nation was hacked (not accidently left with auto login turned on or left logged in), the mods will probably help out as much as they can. But, the way it looks from the FAQ, the mods won't change a password.

Wasn't Galdania deleted for that thread threatening to make terrorist attacks against American military targets?

Meh, no doubt if it is so, the Mod Cen. will resolve it via its records. Just a matter of time till Moderation staff get to it and investigate I suppose.

Galdania, I bring you the official answer of our good moderation staff here at NationStates:

NO. Why you thought we'd be cool with you posting that thread, I'll never know.

Uhm, yeah. Yeah, he was. You know, you get your account deleted for commiting a crime (terrorist threats), what makes you think they'll give it back to you? Jesus.

After consultation with Reploid Productions and Melkor Unchained, and given the severity of Galdanias crime, we have decided to declare Galdania to be permanently banned from NationStates. All detected puppets shall henceforth be Deleted-On-Sight.

Well, I may as well be the one to ask the question that I'm sure some poeple are thinking about now. Did any law enforcement agency ever get in touch with any of you about that thread?

Note that my response is merely off of the top of my head, here....

Assuming for the moment that we were contacted, I don't think that we'd be at liberty to discuss the matter.

Ok erm... Assuming for the moment that your answer is correct: thanks, that's kind of what I expected. :p

And something unlrelated that I just noticed... How come when the mods delete a nation, they don't delete the forum account at the same time - is Jolt only allowed to delete forum accounts? And can the deleted nation access the forum with the account even though the nation is DEAT?

If I understand things correctly, the related forum account is prohibited from posting on the NationStates forums, but may still post in other Jolt forums.

I'm still not clear on these details myself, though, so this answer is unofficial.

It happened in General a long time ago, way before the move to Jolt. You'll never be able to find the thread though, the mods said they "secured it" so the authorities could look at it.

I want to speak to Max

I will post some of what I said here (this is all that I saved on file):

FIRST ENTRY: 06.06.04.

I am a radical anti-American. While I do not condone killing civilians, the American populace is as conservative and capitalist as their government.

However, the main target is the government itself. The military that crushes the world beneath it's heel is also a prime target.

I have been researching different ways to make explosive devices. I am currently attempting to create a 'pressure bomb' by taking magnesium oxide out of a battery and combining it in a pressurized enviroment (a 2L plastic bottle) with hydrogen peroxide. I plan to test the device tommorow.

For a real attack using that method (which is unlikely, as it is a fairly rudementary implement), I would have to strap ball-berings or nails around the bottle. However, I will first have to see how the device works on it's own.

A few days ago, I visted www.hamasonline.com to see what their objectives are. Though I have heard the saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend", I believe that Hamas is slightly too radical in it's devotion to Islam for me to associate with them. Being an atheist, I am uncertain as to wheather or not they would even accept me.

As I am currently residing in Canada, I may have to target American allies there. In the upcoming federal elections, the Conservative Party candidate Stephen Harper stands a good chance of being elected. If he is elected by the backwards hicks of this country, I will have to make him my prime target. As I am a Canadian now, I should try to liberate Canada before focusing my efforts to the south. Canada is much more left-wing, and I may be able to find sympathisers here.

END ENTRY

I didn't get too much of a positive response on nationstates.

I also posted a topic asking people what they would bomb if they could. I stated that there would be no greater honour than to kill American and Israeli soldiers, and their political leaders.

I would like to speak to Max Barry about this. I believe that my arguments might be better heard by him. I will recognise his descision on the matter.
