Testlandia Unresponsive In Lazarus

Recently, my nation in Lazarus, New Omnivaro, became the Delegate. After this happened, I sent a telegram to Testlandia asking if I could have regional control, for the purpose of working with the Factbook Entry and that sort of thing. It's been nearly four days now, and I've received no response.

I understand that the moderators have a busy schedule, but after having sent additional telegrams to Testlandia, and asking other moderators to talk to him, inquiring if at the very least he could update the factbook entry for me (if for some reason he wants to deny my regional control), I'd appreciate at least some sort of response. Unfortunately, I haven't received a thing, and I know that Testlandia has been active during this time.

I don't mean to nag, but it's getting frustrating, since I'm trying to get a new administration together for Lazarus and I'm missing a crucial tool with which to do it. If any of the moderators could try and get Testlandia to take care of business as the region's founder, I would be very appreciative.

I doubt that the delegate of Lazarus will ever be able to access Regional Controls, as Lazarus is where resurrected nations come to life, and should remain safely locked down by the Founder at all times. It is possible to work around not having access to Regional Controls and still have a successful delegacy and region.

<--Not a mod.

It took Lies Incorporated close to 20 days to get the factbook he wanted. These things take time. Be patient.

The World Factbook Entry for Lazarus currently contains woefully outdated and incorrect information that is harming the quality of gameplay for all nations in the region.

We urge the moderators to take fewer than 20 days to correct this.

The mods have more important tasks at hand than changing the the World Factbook entry in Lazarus.

Naturally; we are not asking them to make that their main occupation or even a major responsbility of theirs.

We are merely asking them to take a few seconds to cut and paste text we have already sent them. Surely the nations of this game are not naughty enough to take up a full 20 days of their time?

Be thankful Testlandia does anything at all. It's their region, remember?

We understand that. However, we do not view our request as unreasonable or necessarily problematic, and hope that the moderator behind Testlandia agrees.

Well, see, that's the thing. So far, Testlandia hasn't done anything at all. While it is technically Testlandia's region, I should like to think that being the democratically elected Delegate of the region should imply at least partial control as well.

If Testlandia doesn't want to take care of business in Lazarus, I respect that. However, that doesn't change the fact that it is business which needs to be taken care of, one way or the other.

You are lucky. If you became delegate in my region, with this attitude, you'll find your but in the RR. I never give access to regional controll. Not even now I am delegate myself :p

That's how I run my region, too.

That is not the case. Control is only granted at the Founders pleasure.

However, that doesn't change the fact that it is business which needs to be taken care of, one way or the other.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this is incorrect. This matter isn't important and is of low priority.

The puppetmaster of Testlandia has been informed of your request. It's up to him/her to decide whether or not to take care of this. Until then, you'll have to do without. No Moderator may unilaterally override another Moderator.

Monrovia, a couple of points:

1) Testlandia's first telegram to me when I became delegate was to state that he was going to give me regional control.

2) Testlandia's second telegram to me was that it wasn't possible :P

Lazarus isn't a regular region; stop making demands, it's only going to make the mods roll their eyes and sit back, working on other, more important issues.

It is the safest way to create a big region. Giving regional access is just russian roulette. Eventually someone snaps and destroys your many month's work. It can be anything.

1: He might wanna go out in a bang.
2: It might have been a sleeping invader.
3: Maybe it is something you did.
4: Maybe he decides to get rid of inactive nations.
5: Maybe he just wants to elliminate the opposition.

There are many more reasons why a delegate wants to empty your region, and it is all bad. :headbang:
