During the upcoming downtime, the usualy methods of recieving moderator/technical support will be down until the new forums come online. For that reason, if you require help during the forum downtime, we invite you to come visit the semi-official NationStates IRC channel. Most of the mods should be around at some point, and their are always many helpful players ready and willing to help.

You will need an IRC client to access this channel, such as mIRC ( www.mirc.org ).
Channel rules are basically the same as they are for the forums. Thanks, and hope you'll stop by!

Just so you guys know, I will be spending a great deal of time in there as well to provide support and answer questions. Please realize though that I am a busy person and so may not always get back to you immediately.

But why would they need help with the game if it is down anyway? And when it is up and the forums are down, couldn't they just use the getting help page?
