There is a region called "Deutschland" (German for "Germany", of course) which has sat utterly useless and totally inactive for several hundred days.

This region, being the name of a RL country, is desired for inhabitation by many, myself included. However, a nation by the name of Reichsprotektor has kept it password-protected and occupied by a single puppet nation for over 200 days.

The last regional activity was 149 days ago...

In other words, is there any way this region can be opened up, instead of remaining uselessly locked up by one person for hundreds and hundreds of days? Surely NationStates bandwidth can go to better use than this.

I'm almost certain the answer will be "No" but I'd rather ask about it and see, instead of simply give up on my hopes.

I speak German, my parents are German, and I'd like to put my nation in Deutschland... simple as that. Now I wouldn't raise the issue ordinarily, but for a region to be totally inactive for 149 days has got to be an extraordinary case.

Yes, and he refuses, of course.

He's Reichsprotektor - founder of Germany (not really founder, just mod approved) and founder of Deutschland (ditto). He's also Posk in The Pacific under Francos Spain.

I just don't see why he has to keep Deutschland locked up for 202 days, permitting nobody whatsoever to enter. It's a real shame, to have people who WANT to go there, but can't.
