I've been looking through all 17 pages of proposals which may affect my puppet, and although these three arent likely to pass, they do not fit the criteria of being UN proposals.

Bad UN proposals:
From Page 1; gameplay
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.

Category: Political Stability S
trength: Significant
Proposed by: Willinovia
Description: Upon passage of this act there shall be the creation of an International Football League, otherwise known as American Soccer, for all willing nations to join.

The creation of this league would give nations the oppertuinity to encounter eachother on a peaceful platform.

From page 14; gameplay (Posted twice)
A resolution to increase democratic freedoms.

Category: The Furtherment of Democracy
Strength: Mild
Proposed by: T-nation
Description: The UN shouldn't be deciding things for the world, It should be that; the regional delegate OR the nation ruler himself/herself should decide, these proposal should end up in an issue link on the UN link. Once it gets to the UN delegate then the nations in the regions should vote on it. It makes more sense.

From page 17; repealing of resolution
A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.

Category: Moral Decency
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Xtreme Christians
Description: Observing that abortion goes against the principles of many cultures and and religons this resolution will
1.Repeal the U.N's previous abortion resolution;
2.Educate the masses of the dangers of abortion on women and the moral issues behind the decision;
3.Urge that nations illegalize abortion unless it is medically neccesary.

From [page 17; simply put, WTF!?]
A resolution to improve world security by boosting police and military budgets.

Category: International Security Strength: Mild Proposed by: Rudasia
Description: The moon looks suspicious. Its been looking at me strangely, as I am sure it has been strangely looking at you.
STUPID MOON! All nations should get together, and build a weapons program to BLOW UP THE MOON.
That'll show that stupid moon who is boss. Its a useless object that floats around our earth and I think there are ninjas on the moon just waiting to kill us. Lets not wait for them to attack. Blow up the moon. Sais I.

I don't know who's been going through them lately, and there's been a bad batch of UN proposals, but they are getting taken off the floor, thank God!

I became Delegate of "The Realm of Ambrosia" at about the same time Enodia retired. So, I figured I'd delete bad proposals while endorsing the good ones.

Handling two responsibilities in onw sweep. :)

I do not mean to imply that I've been doing all the UN proposal patrol work. Merely some of it.

A resolution to improve world security by boosting police and military budgets.

LIke rougue regions. That need to be taken down before they are a threat to us. So we need an army.

PAGE10
Who will police the police?
A resolution to tighten or relax gun control laws.

Category: Gun Control Decision: Relax Proposed by: Gun-toting Maniacs
Description: Governments go to war with one another all the time. Missles land on the homes of foreign lands, soldiers march into peaceful towns with guns blazing and cops of our own nations shoot us down when we protest. Whether or not your government is corrupt, they promote gun control so that you can't hold any real power of your own.

Take back the power that you deserve. The next time the government send its soldiers after you, do you want to be armed and ready or scared and defenseless?

LE, seriously just chill out.

They are probably just new to U.N resolutions. I mean, it doesn't look like they've intentionally broken rules, they just appear to be very stupid people.

I probably should feel insulted, because I don't get it :?
I think I just found the reason why I never created a proposal in in my year's gameplay. I still don't get it. :?

What I don't get?

1: Why is it here?
2: What make's it so bad that someone should report it at all?
3: I think that bad proposals should be ignored.
4: You can't punish someone for being ignorant, when they don't do any further harm, do you?

We sweep the proposal list on a nightly basis. If any proposals are deemed illegal they are deleted.
