if word games are banned, then streaking should be too. Streaking has no purpose at all.

can yall make some kind of ruling on this?

I think a little recreational spam use is good. As long as they aren't doing any hard spam it doesn't hurt anybody, and actually adds some much needed levity to general. I let general because so many people there are self-righteous bigots.

Streaking has no purpose at all.

I agree, with the current state of the server, streaking comes across as many things: hijacking a thread, trolling, and spam.

I'd also like to see what the mods think of this.

This topic itself has quickly turned spam-like

I'm also annoyed by the streaking trend. With a server this slow, it's really annoying when a topic spreads to an extra page 'cause of these damned streakers.

I think it would be spam, it is a random comment that doesn't fit the topic. Seems like spam. We shall see.

My non-existang gods! What is the state of the forums coming to, when people complain about pretty naked people running through their threads. Used to be people always felt blessed to have streakers through their threads.

And besides, if ya don't like it do something more creative than calling for mod help... Lock the door on them! lol

Pre tell, what else can we do but address this issue to the mods?

As, I said, be creatives. I remember locking the doors on our own dear Blue Viper once, quite entertaining to see her run into the door. And, if this simpleton can find a way to find entertainment through this, I'm sure a smart one like yas shall find some easily enough....

Or...of course, you could address it to the people who are doing it. What do you think they are, faceless streaking monsters....Hmmm, what a mental image that is lol. Or even, or should I even perish the thought, just have a quick laugh at the interruption and go back to your debate.

Life deals us what cards it chooses, it is through our choice, whether to laugh, or get annoyed. Though it's much easier to do the former when it's something harmless like this. Being as the posts are usually not insulting, don't kill a thread like a disturbing picture would, and come and go like the tides, not persistant in any sense.

Pre tell, what else can we do but address this issue to the mods? You'll get them to stop if you engage them in comedy. Just don't try to drag them off by police, that'll only encourage them.

Do you know how long this 'tradition' has been going on for? Several times I have streaked and mods have been present. Surely they know that I do it, and yet they've never stopped me for that.

Because of the trouble streaking inevitably causes, I make it a rare occurance and when I do find the occasion to streak I dig up the 'WARNING: STREAKING IMMINENT' thread so people know what is about to occur. If you don't want your thread spammed by my streaking posts then just post in my streaking thread and say so.

I'm not unreasonable. I streak for the enjoyment of others and myself even though some do not approve of it. I must stress that I don't really streak that often, so you'll just have to look the other way when it does.

Sorry BS about your music thread. I wasn't aware I had so many followers in the last streak. Usually it's just me.
