i tend to role play various puppets on the general board.

my first question is where is the line between acceptable rping and unacceptable trolling? my characters tend to take extreme positions, as role playing a true moderate isn't as interesting(though perhaps genuinely challenging).

my second question is specifically about role playing neonazi, white power types. most of the real fascists tend to get deleted for either flaming or just being too offensive, i've been thinking about roling playing one absolutely straight; no tin foil hats, or gay nazis, or antiwelsh supremacists. what are the guidelines for acceptable posting for such a puppet?

Follow the same rules everyone else does. If you want to pretend to be a neo-nazi, that's fine. Just don't troll, flame, bait, spam, etc.

It should be noticed that we've deleted a good number of strident anti-nazis who crossed the lines of acceptable postings. We don't care what ideology you espouse, as long as you follow the rules.

In addition to what Hack said, you should probably make it a point to clearly mark your roleplays as such. A disclaimer that the topic is a roleplay and should not be taken seriously should suffice.
