editing?
this may sound really nubbish, but is there a way to tell if someone has editied a post?

If someone has posted after them, and before they edit, the forum will add a little line saying that they edited the post X times, and the most recent edit's time/date.
Mod edits of other people's posts are only visible if the Mod makes a note of it. Mod edits of their own posts follow the same rules as for players.

This is a test; if you look below, what Hack said is illustrated.
[Mod Edit: And here we see that the forum doesn't record that I just edited TH's post.]
The forum also forgets to mention what a pretty lady I am. Stupid forums. :(

is there any way to hide that? Or is it only invisible if a mod edits it?

There's nothing you can do to hide it, except to edit before someone posts.
hmmmm........
quite odd indeed
If someone edited before someone else posted, is there anyway to tell that, is there a way to do it if you are a moderator?

If you edit before someone posts, there's no way to tell.

Yeah, the only way to know if a Moderator edited the post is if the Moderator in question made a notation about it during the edit.
