question about moderation
The mods moderate the game both in regions and on the forums right?
What i'd like to know is who moderates the moderators?
This is a serious question...is there any check on what mods do?

Forum Moderators only moderate the forums.
Game Moderators moderate both the forums and the game itself (ie: regions)
[violet] and [dredd], the administrators are able to see every action that we perform, and periodically review our activities. Also, when serious complaints are formally lodged, via admin@nationstates.net, they are investigated.
[violet] and [dredd] are highly trusted by Mr. Max Barry Himself, but he does retain the authority and perogative of overruling their rulings. And since Mr. Max Barry Himself is the owner of the site, there is no higher authority.
