Am I correct in defining spam as the same post with the same wording being spread across a wide range of threads or rmb's etc?

Well, thats ONE definition. Another type of spam are pointless posts/topics, like "my hair is blue".

This is already the millionth thread started by someone, who wants to see how far he push the limits of spam. I guess, this qualifies as spam.

Not at all. I want to hear from a MOD if this is accurate. If my definition is correct then I wish to lodge a complaint against a big-time spammer who keeps wasting space.

But...I just want to make sure what i asked is a definate definition of spam.

Why do I get the feeling you are pushing your agenda again?

How about we follow standard procedure? You provide the links, and we decide what, if any, action to take.
