MODERATORS MESSAGE TO ME

I checked before i propose my issue in reference to a U.N. army. i was told by a moderator that the u.n. cannot have a army.i beg to differ it is called a u.n. security force! i also suggested that an arm of the branch of this u.n. army be a anti terrorist arm. this is also feasible! the u.n. right now is set up similarly already. remembering this is a game and that altho we cannot change the game itself we can change certain aspects of the game play we do not have to follow everything that is happening in the world or go by the letter of the daily news!

That would affect the game mechanics. Un Resolutions cannot change the way the game works, it is in the FAQ on the main game

Yes, it would affect game mechanics. The UN isn't organized at all here - 33,000 nations! (or so)
The NS UN has nothing to do with NS roleplaying, really, and so a UN army is...impossible. The UN's only purpose here is voting on resolutions that affect our stats.

is their not a u.n. security force? do they not uphold the u.n. charter of protection of All u.n. nations? do we not at the u.n. employ inspectors and intelligence gathering sections at the u.n.? yes we do!

I'm not going to post like i usually post on this subject. You seem to want to Roleplay this, not actually altering anything gamewise, correct?
Go here http://www.nationstates.net/pages/faq.html . In case you haven't read it yet.

correct i do not wish to change anything in regards to the game itself. we join the u.n. {in the game } to make conditions better thru out the free world of NS but if we have nothing to offer a nation then wouldn't they be better off joining a rogue state?

correct i do not wish to change anything in regards to the game itself.
Then, why submit a proposal at all? Just go into the role-play forums, and do it that way.

Again...the Naitonstates UN is for voting on resolutions that affect our nation's statistics - economy, civil rights, political freedoms. Go on the roleplay forums...you would have more potential there.
By the way, don't type in all lowercase...it's considered bad form over there. Some people are overzealous to declare others to be n00bs if they see lowercase...I had to break the habit when I first started.

I find that interesting,
if you type in all lowercase, you are a noob
IF YOU TYPE IN ALL UPPERCASE, YOU ARE A NOOB
iF YoU TypE IN BoTH, You ARe StiLL a NoOb.
If you type properly, again, you are a Noob.
seems the only way you can be considered to not be a Noob
is to not type at all around those who are worried about the Noobs.
Especialy considering to folks like myself, those who are concerned about Noobs can be considered Noobish as well.
To be a n00b, or not be a n00b, that is the question! 8)

I'm awfully new myself, but it's not that hard to not be considered n00bish by most players...or at least to not get accused of it.
