I found the comments on homosexuals and sex-workers "spreading disease with every step" quite offensive in context and out of it. We hardly need to promote bigotry in a site accessed by children I would think.

I also suspect that this "proposal" is going to hit the repeal band-wagon.

What's wrong with submitting a proposal to repeal something? Saying that that is wrong is wrong itself. In the "real" world laws are repealed everyday somewhere in our big blue world.

And, in regards to "spreading disease" part. Prostitutes DO spread STD's, and homosexuals have the highest HIV rates.

False. Lesbians have the lowest.

If I remember correctly, the highest rates were those of South African and other other African hetero-sexual women, but that was more due to the wide-spread of the disease through lack of education programs, material, and the basic structures and provisions of modern society. Oh yeah, and the very, very, very, high numbers of rapes.

At least I think ... I need to dig all that stuff out, its in a folder around here some-where ...
