Okay, there are already a few threads on this here, but, being nuetral towards it, and hopefully being a person FWS won't try to spam (I did back you man, and still do), I'm calling to the mods.

In the last hour or so, things have gone crazy with FWS. AMF invaded him, and FWS said he'd gone back in time and nuked the entire world. What happened next was a mix up of random flamings, yellings, and, near the end, some actual good debating on the topic.

In any case, I am requesting that mod support, much needed (and already given in a couple of the threads that are now locked) be given. And I don't only mean yelling at people about swearing, making racist remarks, Godmodding, etc.

What we need is a totally nuetral mod to actually rule on the topic of what happens to FWS, and to the thirty threads about him.

Haven't seen somebody flip out and suicide by mod like that in awhile. In any case, it's really a hard call in a free-form roleplaying environment regarding what happens after a deletion. Some people prefer to simply claim the dead nation was 'swallowed up by a temporal distortion', while if there was an active war of some sort in progress, some prefer to assume the invasion was successful and the land and people are now occupied.

Still others take the mass-delusion approach, like what happened to MagicChina in his original incarnation, or Perrier before he spammed tubgirl all over the forums. If enough nations all decide that in their version of the NS-verse (let's face it, there are several), Nation X got nuked/conquered/whatever, then in that version of things, that's what happened. (Ever hear the line "Perrier... you're dead. Stay in character."?)

Very true. NS has split up into like 9 universes, the RL Nation claims (which I think are unrealistic in the first place) cause the largest of these splits, but their seeable elsewhere.

The simplest explanations would be as follows:
1. AMF simply killed the entire population, FPS tried to respond, but it's congress shot down the call for war unaminously.
2. AMF occupies FWS temporarily, then pulls out, letting the nation live as its own, sort of out of the way.
3. FWS becomes a UN peacekeeping zone, the first one NS.
4. The population of FWS, minus a few million, are added onto AMF as he totally conquors FWS.
5. FWS's entire population went back in time to 1994. Problem is, they slammed into themselves then years ago, and all died.

I'd go for four or five.

EDIT: Speaking of, we really should develop a story for what happens to nations as they go inactive/are banned.

FPS, I'd settle this somewhere other than the moderation forum.
